These have always been a fav and hate for many people. It's quirky cuz the sound chip is the same as a basic older PC sound card. The menu diving is a drag but the sequencer makes up for it. You should be able to sequence the heck out of those Volcas.

@@submarinemedia8316 If your digging that you should consider the new MC101. It has literally thousands of sounds, plays samples and has a lot features that outweighs the price.

I dont remember paying anything crazy and this thing definitely came from over seas. Most of the ones I ever see on ebay do.

eliasforgames yes I haven’t programmed with it but the retro logo sounds are awesome. I’ve just been sampling them into my DAW cause I don’t have a lot of patience for sequencers.

I’ve made it through a variety of the sounds, cloud rap for sure, and the bells and chimes of modern hip hop. It got a bunch of drum sound I haven’t heard yet simply cause I have a lot drums packs. I’m thinking about making a beat exclusively with it if your interested stay tuned. I’ve been away for a while because I work overnights.
