In this one we show the gains made on a 2016 YAMAHA R6 with a RACE CENTER SUPERSPORT ENGINE BUILD. Daz also explains a bit on it. Oh and some wicked flames too :)

Any recommendations for valve timing with std cams, for more mid to low end gain, thanks for your informative video 👌

Hi mate, we do build these engines for customers to the same spec! but unfortunately, we do not give that information out on our specs as we have put a lot of research and development into it! hope this doesn't come across poorly. Thanks for watching!

Enjoyed your video. Do you recall what shock length has worked well with the larger Pirelli rear tire?

Sorry for the late reply. Shock lengths are just 1 small part of the overall setup, springs rates fork position, riser clip-ons or not, so many things. It all makes a difference, so we can't really give you exact numbers because of that, plus we don't normally give out any exact settings in public forums, sorry :( If you have all your setup details and wanted to send us an email to workshop@racecenter.com.au, we might be able to steer you in the right direction

loooking at getting a heal tech quickshifter but auto blipper looks beneficial too. How do you by pass MOT with a full exhaust system also 👀

I don't think you can haha, this is a race bike build so no MOT applies

How often would you recommend valve/seat service for these bikes? I do track days only in the states and just picked up a 23MY R6, thanks!

For a track bike we actually recommend valve clearances are checked when the bike is new OR you buy it. Reason for this is even off the production line the can close to their limit. It is completely fine for the road as they are not seeing peak revs often but for the track it is always a good idea to make sure they are good to start with. The from there we recommend they are checked every 15 to 20 track days. And in an ideal world the engine should be freshened up every 30 tracks day. You don't need to do that, you could stretch it out to 50 or more but that what we recommend

@@RaceCenterAU Thanks, i dont have any more days booked this year, ive done one day so far after breaking engine in, ill check valve clearances before next day out.
