I been dying for someone to give me some advice on something. I’m an experienced rider. But having trouble determining which bike is the better buy, R7 with the Toce or the R1 with the Toce no baffles. Money isn’t an issue. I’m just in love with the crossplane engine that is in both. I normally don’t ride my bikes to redline them or on interstates, I like them for the twisties and love a bike that is very flickable. Which is the better buy? I rarely would ever want to go faster than 140 cause 140 is cooking. But just don’t know what to get. R1 since 2011 has been my dream bike but then Yamaha came out with this bike, now I’m perplexed lol.
R1 will have better build quality, R7 will be a more streetable flickable bike. I'd say get the R7, but I'm a person who thinks 1000's are pointless to own
