If you only saw the struggle I had prior to getting that dumb thing!!!

I hope you can get that damping rod out; this took me weeks of screwing around, and the dumb tool worked in seconds!!!

@@pushrodfury6644 Don't have extentions long enough lol I'm thinking of trying a wooden stick / pole. Try jam it in there.

@@pushrodfury6644 I got them both out now! Used the same method to do it.. 1. installed all the parts - spring, washer, spacer cap. Then hand tightened. 2. Heated up all around the fork where the bolt would be with a heat gun. This was on the lowest setting. Can use a hair dryer. Do this for 10-15mins ( I wouldn't used a bloe torch or a naked flame. As you'll brun your paint / powder coat bad idea!) 3. flip fork upside down. 4. Put as much downwords pressure as possible. Carpet will be best as it won't slide around. 5. Once you've compressed the fork. Use an impact gun to losen the bolt. I done this & instently it was out. steps to help other people in my same situation might save time. Gald i got all this removed! phew.
