Indeed. My brother still has the RZ 500, RZ 350 , Suzuki Gamma 500, and the Honda NS 400. Was thinking of selling them this spring here in Ontario Canada. Told him to keep cause they are showcase bikes 😊
Try having 4 of them going the same time》》 brothers RZ 500 RZ 350 Suzuki Gamma 500 and his Honda NS 400. Lovely music to the ears and the sound gets right into your veins give , err!!!
F7 Kawasaki. Usually needed but two kicks to light. The smoke when leaving in the morning (late eighties) was epic. It needed about a mile or so to clean out entirely, but that first hundred yards would *blanket* a large area!
A good friend of mine had one. Every time I rode it I got off it grinning from ear to ear. Way to much fun to ride. I currently have a RD350LC its a fun track bike but it lacks a couple cylinders.
Lots of fun to ride 2 strokes. My brother still has his 4 2 strokes. His RZ 500 RZ 350 Suzuki Gamma 500 and the Honda NS 400..ah, fill the neighborhood with 2 stroke oil smell😂
@@bjoe74fm look there's a mark the aluminium housing on both sets of the carbs. There's a small finger that will line up when you open the throttle. You have to calibrate them and then adjust the cables. If the power valves isn't calibrated , they can be calibrated where they connect between the two cylinders. Worked at dealership on them for many years ,and owned one as well. I sold it in '98. Good luck ,drive safe.
Excuse me but you should pay attention the rd 500s cylinders are right across it's not a four stroke I've never seen any issues with the 3 rd rear cylinder because there is no rear cylinder
Luck Harold there is a few underbone 2stroke motorcycles in south east asia. The most famous underbone 2stroke is Yamaha 125Z. Is it available in your country, Brazil?
Excellent choices in bikes. My brother still has all 4 of his 2 strokes from the years gone by era. His RZ 500 RZ 350 Suzuki Gamma 500 and the Honda NS 400. He wants to sell them this spring here in Ontario Canada, but told him he should hang on to them cause they are showcase bikes 😊
i had a RD500LC what a fantastic bike they do go, i wish i had still got it now. i have still got the genuine yamaha RD500LC workshop manual for it one of only 23 ever imported to the UK 22 of them went to yamaha dealers & one to me, i would sell it for the right price
Comperata usata nel 96 proprio questo modello ,era stata tenuta benissimo quasi maniacale.... Sono stati gli anni più belli .... Gran moto ancora la porto nel cuore da motociclista
i love this sound , i had one RD 350, with the colored black and red. The bad thing was getting to places with the smell of two stroke oil. hahah but pilot this super motorcicle is a big plesure.
I pulled up to light on my hopped up KZ1000 next to a guy on the 350 Roberts. I started blipping the throttle. He looks over and smirks. Light changes and hes GONE. Welcome to RZ. Id love to buy this gem.
Widow maker, madness . I used to shake with fear after a ride on my 485 tuned lc350, every time i rode it i scared myself . No man can handle that stress for so long😂😂😂
Only if the bikes 25 years old or you dont know how 2 start a 2 stroke properly which a lot dont mine started fine when a 2 stroke is cold turn off gas full choke no throttle when it starts leave choke on for1 minute turn on gas afrer 1 minute shut choke off then go
O great , You finally noticed its not feul injection, and the choke is on the left side , between the fairing and the tank ! Its that small lever thing withe four cables connected to it......
Feck . Love the smell of 2t in the morning .my old girls bro had one and asked me to check it out . Haa 1997'ishn. Still want one for my dream garage 😂what a hoot .won't swap my zed though. Feck art let's dance .yeeeehhhhaaasrrr
Two strokes dont have compression like 4 strokes. 6 to 8 to one or so is typical. Now, when that expansion chamber reverse cone sends that shockwave back into the cylinder before the port closes, ramming that fuel air mixture back into the cylinders at above atmospheric pressure...she's " on the pipe" and all is forgiven. Truly supercharged with no moving parts. That's how a 2 stroke tuned exhaust works. And what is the compression ratio of a supercharged 4 stroke engine ? 7: 1 or so..
Around 1990 or 91 I worked with the late Great Phil McDonald. Seen him put one of these on the rear wheel at around 70 mph. That was when it was cool. RIP Phil, even though you were an asshole!! Godspeed bro.
Aí vc imagina, se a famosa rd350 era o demônio, imagina essa 500 ?? Andei de carona numa rd350 de Arujá a são José dos Campos pela Dutra , pra nunca mais. Era 220 brincando. Olho saia lágrimas
