You forgot the oil pressure test plug. It's not completely necessary but does let you know if the pump is going before you cook the head.

Did you make sure the oil passage wasn’t clogged by priming the head to make sure head is getting oil after every oil change

What happens if you dont run it first? I forgot to run it and when I drained the oil it had gas in it

Running the engine first just helps warm the oil to make it drain a bit quicker.

Yes this process will be almost identical on your Raptor 350.

You will want to run the engine before checking the oil level. We show that step starting at 2:50 in this video.

15W-50 or 20W-50 would be better. It can heandle heat better.

I bought my first quad a 2004 warrior. So I took it for a ride yesterday and rode it for 3 hrs and this morning I noticed the engine oil was low. Is that a normal thing on quads?

No, you should not be burning much oil at all. I would top it off with oil so it's full on the dipstick, then check it again after a ride to make confirm it's losing oil. Then, you can start trying to diagnose if your machine needs new rings, seals, or something else.

Nothing. That is a sight hole to help get your engine to top dead center for setting timing and other engine maintenance.

It depends on what your manufacturer recommends. Have you looked at your owners manual?

The service manual recommends changing the oil every 6 months but if you're harder on your quad or ride it often, it won't hurt to change it sooner. or whenever you see the oil starting to get darker.
