Part of my Yamaha XT550 restoration, I decided to upgrade the original front forks to the later XT600 Disk Brake forks.

Were you able to swap the forks and brakes into the original XT550 triple tree?

Hi, no, need to use the xt600 triple tree that cime with the forks. Also need to modify the turn limit stops on the lower unit.

@@grecoa7 The stem is the same size to fit the XT550 frame and does the year of the front end matter for those dimensions to work?
