I imagine myself being a kid from Brooklyn in the early 1930s hearing this in the background of the 4th of July celebration at Coney Island. I'm munching on cotton candy watching a magic show and the fireworks start in an hour.
This takes me back to when I was a kid, you'd pay a whole quarter to ride the carousel and a real calliope would play real music. Now it's a CD or MP player blasting noice.
I could be wrong but this sounds like “Yankee Doodle Boy”. An early 20th Century Version of Yankee Doodle. “I’m the kid that’s all the candy I’m a Yankee Doodle dandy, I’m glad I am… so’s Uncle Sam, I’m a real life Yankee Doodle….”
To listen to the barrel organ and look at it together with the organ grinder is, of course, interesting. But, when organ grinders settled under my windows, who still began to fry sausages - on the third day I wanted to kill them! :)
@@thecrankjonkie2391 The sounds of a hurdy-gurdy, including. It's good to listen to a hurdy-gurdy for 5 minutes, take a picture of an organ grinder and go further. Listening to such music for more than 20 minutes is a real torture.
