Hi, it took me 44 years of service in and to the army to get here, but it is sweet. I’m going to keep enjoying it as long as my health and mobility let me, that’s the best we can all hope for. Don’t forget to enjoy life on the path to enjoying retirement :)
Thanks. There is city pay parking nearby, but no free parking. We Uber'd from our hotel and found it cheaper than parking for the day downtown. Good luck.
thank you for the info, we are staying in Marathon so i will have to see what Uber would be from there or if driving and parking ourselves would be better.@@EnjoyingRetirement
Yep, that’s a long drive. I believe the city parking next to the terminal is $5 an hour and max $40 a day. Hopefully there’s cheaper parking nearby. When I go to key west I stay at the Fairfield inn there and they provide a shuttle to downtown, or Uber is about $5-7 as I recall. Maybe there’s cheaper parking away from downtown and then Uber from there, just a thought.
