He's not just some giant who can only hit home runs. He's as smart as they come out in the field as well.

Watching an outfielder who has a cannon of an arm thrown the ball is one of the most beautiful sights in all of sports

Aaron throws to the infield like he’s just playing catch I watched this kid grow up from behind the plate while umpiring linden little league in California Was always a great kid very respectful And a natural at every sport he tried Great to see him as a success

His throws have a lot of speed, and you're right, his accuracy is very much a factor in getting those runners.

Aaron has a Cannon of an arm. He can throw the ball on a rope. Love to see what has been taught to ball players playing outfield since I was a kid. One hop to the plate.
@Yankeefan8995
@Yankeefan8995 4 года назад
There was a game where Judge was midway to the track and threw it to home plate no hop off of his right foot while running forward. That’s a cannon to throw off of your opposite foot while running and make home plate and get the runner out. I’ve never seen it in any other video which is surprising.

He didnt step on the base, he came up just short and had to make another stomp to actually put his foot on the base. If he caught the base with the first step he was definitely safe. Another view would be nice but I'm sure there were plenty of angles in the actual broadcast

He does have a great arm, but what’s more interesting to MLB camera crews than any outfielder’s arm is the fact that base runners decide to run the bases. Base runners usually aren’t even juggling anything or telling jokes and sometimes they’re not even running that fast! Yet somehow it’s more interesting than the flight of the ball? I can’t think of another situation in all of sports where the camera doesn’t follow the ball. But I must be missing something. The base runners must be singing or doing math in their head or something. Right? They can’t just be running to where the ball is already going, otherwise all mlb cameramen would certainly be fired by now

I mean yeah he has cannon and if it weren't for the fact that they don't hit he'd probably make a pretty good pitcher... In fact he pitched in college and there's some videos floating out there of him pitching and he probably be throwinh 110 mph fastballs if he ever got put on the mound

His 95mph throws look like he's hardly trying. I bet he could hit triple digits more often if he wanted, but there's no need to so I understand why he doesn't fire it every time.

He hits around 104, about as hard as Hicks throws. From what I've seen Hicks do, I bet Judge would make some crazy throws from deeper than right.
