Max, the call-up of Vivas is exciting, but I am a bit skeptical. The Yankees called up Perazza for one day and sent him back down for JD Davis. Why, !!! Davis was DFA'd and has done nothing this season, and Perazza was hitting .258 for the month and is arguably the best defensive glove in the organization. He didn't even get the opportunity to touch the field. What a crock, mismanagement at its finest. With regard to Vivas, I am excited to see what he has got to show. I hope that they don't pull a Rice on him and actually give hime the opportunity to play. I don't want this kid to be platooned or gathering splinters in his butt from the bench. Give the kid his due and let him do what he does. I am certainly not a Boone apologizist. The Wells, Trevinio pinch hit situation didn't cost us the game. Piss poor situational hitting did. Runners at 2nd and 3rd with NO outs in the 1st with no runs scored, ridiculous. Starter not being able to make 5 innings, more BS. The umpires calls behind the dish, complete garbage. Trevino should have walked 2 separate times in his 9th inning at bat. Hell Matt Blake got tossed over the blues bad calls.

Vivas deserves it just like Ben Rice Deserved it, I'm glad that the Yankees are bringing up young talent to replace old blood at 3rd in DJ and Gleyber at 2nd too.

Sunday night starting infield on ESPN had: rookies at pitcher catcher first base. 2nd year players SS and 2B. The kids are here but yet we still complain. You can't have kids in every position. Cuz you'll end up choking like the Orioles did last year.

@@MaxCoverageTVThe fans aren't as smart as they think that they are. Okay, everyone says fire Boone, fine, who do you replace him with?? No one seems to have a reasonable answer, Girardi, Torre, give me a break. There isn't a good option out there and frankly Boone isn't going anywhere. The definition of a manager is the fall guy when everything does to shit. Boone is certainly wearing that title.
