Yaqi Tile Vs. Aluminum Henson 

Thanks I did a similar comparison between the Razorock SLOC Aluminium and The Yaqi Mellon 316S and again the Yaqi won. After that I bought the Yaqi Slope which is also great. I'll be buying the Yaqi Tile next with their Bolt handle both in 316S for the "'Delorean' configuration.

So much comes down to the blade used. Some razors just hate or love some blades!

Interesting - how close a head shave do you get with the Tile? I have the Henson Medium and get a really close shave using an Astra blade.

The new henson has eliminated the suction problem. I always liked how the Henson shaves, but the new version is even better !

Have you tried Yaqi ss handles? They're very nice. The more I look at this head the more differences with the Henson I notice. Also, as you have found, the Henson is not great if you only shave every 3 days like me. So, all these Henson comparisons are a bit redundant. The razors have different head geometry, different use cases, different waste disposal etc. I think the Henson is great but it is different from this, and this is a fine razor, especially given the price. As I say, take a look at the Telstar. Yaqi released two excellent razors at the same time.

The Henson is my favorite.

The Henson requires a Feather blade to be efficient and Feathers cost 85 cents each in Canada.
