Wow, what an absolute beauty of a black paint! I actually prefer that aesthetic myself so I'm a bit jealous. Glad to hear you got your seals replaced and I appreciate the shout out! Towards the end of the video you asked about any tips and really, the Electro is so intuitive it's difficult to make big mistakes. The only things I could mention go with using any rangefinder and you probably already are aware but why not, I'll list them anyway. Always remember that you're not looking through the lens so it's easy to forget to remove the lens cap and just be shooting blank frames. Same for the light meter port in that you have to be mindful not to let a finger slide over it and throw off the metering. Aside from that I'm not sure what battery set up you're using but I can personally vouch for the Exell A32PX 6V over on Amazon. It's worked perfectly/fit perfectly more or less since I made that video of the restore job. Also, I've been using a vented lens hood (Camdesign on Amazon I think?) that gives a little more visibility through the viewfinder. This comment has gotten way too long so I'll end it here. Best of luck with everything.

Thanks for this!! Might have to get myself that lens hood as the viewfinder is a little difficult to frame I found. Also got my scans back there from my first roll and there are a few leaks so maybe redo my seals with thicker string as the one I used was quite thin. Thanks for your help! 👌
