I feel like the main issue with vampire is that it's just excessively buggy. Any bug fix towards vamp would be considered a buff in my opinion. (I.e. teleporting in vampire's freeze, this is bs and extremely annoying when playing against any time stand). Edit: Vamp's freeze also doesn't accurately show where the player is frozen, their player model will be in the freeze but their stand/hitbox will be like 50 miles away and that screws up combos that I try to do with freeze.
i agree considering i main vamp since mobile sucks and it’s the only decent spec that’s good for it and the fact they can block in something made to stun
@@SleepyXBandit I'm fine with the fact that they can block because you can just pair freeze with unblockable/block breaking moves. It's just that, that doesn't work if you 1. Can't tell where they are. Or 2. If they straight up teleport away. Vamp freeze can be a really good tool for combos but these bugs are really holding it back from it's true potential. It's a move that's meant to HOLD THEM IN PLACE, it kinda defeats the point if they can just easily teleport away.
I'd like to point out the fact that during the time when knives disappeared the moment you threw them and all TS's were put to 9 seconds, knives worked during time stop AND THEY WOULD ACTUALLY DO DAMAGE That means that a BUG caused something to WORK and then it broke again after said bug got fixed
@@society1876 Some code maybe like a spaghetti mess now due to how old the game is. Remind that Uzu still use his old script from StandVerse after he got scammed which back like 2018-2019. But I doubt Uzu ever overhaul old scripts and just leave them there so the KC impale cheese still there for god damn year (cause KC is one of the stand on release so it still have those outdated code)
@Zynith VFX Not what I meant, currently in TS if you throw knives, they won't do any damage when the TS ends, but back when that bug was active, if you threw knives, then they would deal damage when TS ended
We better be hoping for some real good balancing if Uzu has to make a google document for how big this update will be. This is the first time in nine months where I would have high expectations for what Uzu has to offer. Besides the new map/StoneFree, if I DON’T see at least THREE of the four metaMENACES get nerfed (for my list of meta-menaces, it’s TWAU,SP,SCR, and MiH), I will not even dare use Stone Free in 1v1s, since everybody knows it W I L L get walled out by those non nerfed metas/half metas (like KC/KCR, D4CLT, and TWOH, but they have genuine non specific stand based counterplay(Like how MiH and SCR only really get crushed by TimeStop), unlike the four metas I listed above). PLEASE UZU YOU BETTER HAVE GOOD STUFF/BALANCES THIS UPDATE -Forgot about boxing balances, buffing specs like Hamon’s ScarletRedOverdrive to JawBreaker level shouldn’t be the solution. Jaw Breaker and VaporizationFreezing should just get nerfed to ScarletRedOverdrive’s level, as that unparryable blockbreak has legit balance. For JawBreaker, a 13 second cooldown, unparryable, 24 second windup, 42.5 damage move IS NOT OKAY. Why else do you see most lesser used stands abuse this move? It should have longer startup, less damage, and 7 more seconds of cooldown. VaporizationFreezing doesn’t need that much of a gut, just make it’s windup slower, and the move should be reactable.
The true menace will be kcr + pluck at that point, being the soft healing from that new move with RM, and also you could live forever, using RM to epitaph (maxed) and TE, healing with the pluck each time.
can't wait for most of the new updates, especially when there'll be new moves for White Album. Though I think that there should be a longer cooldown for pluck's "Resolve" move, taking note that compared with GE's healing cooldown, within around 9 seconds pluck can heal more than GE can. (Legend says free spec storage will become a thing next update)
These changes are overall pretty great now a few stands that I think will still be meta are: Twoh (only a ts nerf) Scr (It’s damage is getting buffed a little) Kcr (Sythe and epitaph raging demon still gonna be a issue) Anubis (just a counter windup) Twau (GUN STILL A PROBLEM, knives still gonna be good) d4c Lt (basically no nerfs) Have wonderful day or night everyone, :)))
i have a feeling that twoh is gonna be ass after the update because every move is cancellable now and there is no good way to time stop and deal efficient damage
@@TheLouke my guy you do realize twoh pluck exists, that shit hurts asf even if the player just uses spec moves and m1's and if you're good at twoh you can pretty much land all of your cancellable moves by block breaks and parries
I hope they add a button like a fast mode but only for killer queen, making the explosions the old ones (like little boy from aerosmith) and making the btd the old animation My pc has overheating problems, everytime he reaches 70 degrees Celsius he just turns off, new killer queen ends up overheating my pc And I'm not talking only about myself here, a lot of people complain about the lag killer queen causes and it makes unplayable or almost unplayable
I mean, if time acceleration won't affect the cooldowns, then what was the point of increasing the double accel cooldown? If we are gonna be slow for 50% of the time, then they should increase mihs damage because without speed you can't deal damage at all.
I honestly believe they are going overkill on hg nerfs. If you look at the stand, its spec moves are its entire kit essentially. And I don't like that you just... can't use spec moves during marionettes. If they are worried about stand crash in marionettes to one shot, just let people resummon their stand in marionettes if they aren't stunned.

As a former hg pluck user this is a HUGE nerd to hg. They have to either buff it’s base damage or buff some of the other moves wether it’s lower cool downs, the moves last longer, or whatever. Plus nobody uses hg anyways so to nerf a stand that almost nobody uses to this extent is unnecessary

As a pluck player, its sad to see the lingering pierce strike go but other than that i feel like it isnt that bad of a change. They fixed the thing where pluck players could die to one timestop or whatever with those passives so i think this update isn't that bad.
ger is already in a bad spot and it’s becoming even worse. not being able to block or dash should’ve been a given for rtz or certain abilities. gers counter (which is arguably the worst in the game) is getting nerfed by having less time to do damage and even longer windup.

My channel has been failing the moment I started trying to make HIGH quality projects and release them for others to use for their own purposes such as education or just shoving into their game without polishing anything. These high quality stuff I've been trying to make always end up making me lose motivation or takes too long to make and I can't catch up. Which resulted in a almost-a-year of me leaving RU-vid to catch up on my life in school. So now, I'm no longer doing tutorials on High quality projects, I'm just gonna make them and upload them to youtube. Since my family doesn't let me use voice chat or just my voice in youtube, I really just can't do anything about it.
9:24, Eclipse it says that you can't force their stand away so there's no way people are gonna get one shot because once the rock trap ends and if they get eye gouged they can just barrage.
what you're forgetting is that heavy punch has hyperarmour, and they should make rock trap a separate move and not have hyperarmour so you dont just get oneshot
Yeah, he's just gutting timestop completely. The stun change was more than enough, so you don't get extra barrage damage. Now you have to get a block break which is very inconsistent and unreliable compared to just pressing ora kicks once, or smite once. The whole problem of timestop combo is negated with the removal of the ability to stun people, so why go further and make it nearly impossible to land. If someone ora kicks you or smites to time stop you'll just take a bunch of damage from the ts and... thats it

i like the changes for scr I think scr’s entire point is really to use as SUPPORT not as a main dps, with all these changes its best to use scr for teams since, if you do use arrow barrage your friend can help you by barraging the opponent as you cant barrage after arrow barrage. The pilot not slowing teammates is extremely helpful too as with this your teamates can actually get up to you’re opponents without you being the only one that can
these balance changes mean nothing if road roller's voice line isn't the actual "ROADA ROLLA DAAA!" as well as star platinum's time stop having the same sound effect as the world's despite having a different sound effect canonically
I feel like if you ts you should do less damage to the people or npcs your attacking, the reason why I want this is because you can’t move in ts or block in ts. However if you have a stand that can move in ts you do the same damage as if you weren’t in ts.
I Disagree on the GER Part, i know what you are talking about and all but i just think it dosen't make Sense that Ger itself cant get out of combos. It's kinda the Purpose of the stand if you know what i mean....
My one hope was for tusk's nails to be not completely invalidated by the holding of the f key. Even with this being a huge balance change, I don't see the meta shifting that much outside of kc sweats crying. As you said, we just gotta let time play out, it's too early to make proper assumptions
here's my main issue with GER balancing, unless they give it GE's kick barrage too it'll have nothing really to do on offense. nobody will throw out a random TS on a GER in 1v1s unless they suck, so really all GER has is a mediocre counter, and awakening M1s, kinda becomes even more of a one trick pony than it was before, feel like the balancing should've at least had 1 or 2 offensive rebalances/buffs like maybe nerfing the scorpion's damage but in return, slightly nerfing the endlag (though not like old endlag so no scorp barrage) and maybe making the scorpions appear faster. not a balancing genius, but i feel like there's some big flaws with nuking ger's 1v1 offensive capabilities
I really feel like they should just get rid of it’s counter completely and replace it with muda kicks. It really only needs a kick barrage to be good. That, or buff the life forms so that they actually track or just come out faster. Bc currently you don’t even have to block them. Just move slightly to the right or left. On top of them being very difficult to combo with. Very disappointed with his changes. Ger shouldn’t be an overly strong team stand and shit in 1v1s. Maybe I like playing the game by myself :/
21:34 people with high ping sometimes can’t block on getup fast enough for certain things so this essentially is just a free combo for high ping people
Vampire, Red Hot Chili Pepper, and *maybe* Hamon could use a buff. Hamon less so, but you gotta agree with me on the other two. I also hope Crazy Diamond gets buffs, god knows he deserves it.
if the counter didnt even get cancelled, you could just throw it out while getting m1s, get the opponent stunned, and use any move you would like, this would be extremely busted because ger could just throw out his scorpions and life forms, making it probably one of the most busted stands in the game
I know how they should nerf scr so first they should remove cw then they should remove the counter then they should remove both of the barrages then they should remove pilot then they should remove scrs arms then they should remove scr
i just cant agree with the mih changes because if the suggested changes are made mih will just be unuseable. its only uncancellabe moves are knives, which are decent, but are also easy to block. mihs stand speed isnt enough to compete with other good stands outside of double accel so youll be losing a lot more m1s trades. mihs destructive power is also atrocious so pretty much any stand you try and m1 trade with will win. i just dont understand why scr gets the nerfs and buffs treatment but with mih it's nerfs across the board. i personally wouldve liked to see a buff to mihs destructive power to potentially a 1.3 or 1.2 barrage and maybe a speed buff but that'd probably be teetering on the edge of too powerful. i just dont see mih being usable in a meta of m1s and timestop in it's proposed state.
ok something you I want to address that you didn't say is to take the twoh destruction nodes and make them all cost like 2 with the last being 3 or something like that and make time stop upgrades not getting the move just the upgrades take more points and to make this balance because it is pretty evident that having this change makes it to where there will be more specs viable for twoh and I think we need to move the knife node to just being on destructive power nodes and also making it to where you the ascended knifes is a branch off heaven ascended smite to make it to where you have a option to having the ascended knifes and normal ones (because cooldown is increased with the ascended knifes) and make it to where you have more wind up oh heaven ascended smite to give that last needed balance I might have forgot something but if I did then please tell me also MAKE FREE SPEC STORAGE A THING IT STILL ISNT OUT YET AND IT IS STUPID
I'm still kinda upset that they didn't consider mobile at all, like making cursor aimed stuff to hitting the closet player (within range) and stuff like block delay and hit boxes being horrible makes it very annoying
Honestly they could do it like in the anime or Manga for the, were if you do a move that ragdolls more than once, they just go flying into a wall or just the floor, doing a tad amount of dmg

i have quite a bit more faith in uzu considering what people like paragon have said about the update, as well as a number of other things, but even still i’m keeping my expectations as just stone free and the new map, and if i’m surprised by more, that’d be awesome, but i’m honestly not expecting too much
Hiya eclipse, can you do a GER Stand Re-Review? I understand you don't enjoy YBA as much as you do other games and only rely on it for revenue, but I feel that GER deserves some more attention. When paired with hamon, it has some real nasty combos, and can use RTZ to get out of any combo. Pre nerf, GER was busted and scorpion barrage was a nightmare. but it doesn't suck now, it's really slept on
As a tw main im happy about roadroller f ix cuz when u blockbreak i use roadroller but people get first hit then walks away in roadroller or gets the final hit does 30-40 but with barrage it does more than startup and final hits and people just walks away and it makes a terrible attidue while playing i just love rolling people with roadroller but with pc that gets 20-30 fps it gives first damage+final hit but players walk away its annoying but now it is getting fixed
To start this is not me complaining. Regardless I think mih looping double accel is an interesting way for it to function for me personally and I kinda wish they just reigned in mih's speed a bit so the looping was the intended tactic but just wasn't quite as overpowered. The nerfs are fine this is just my musings
A complete noob turning a match that is intended to last less than 10 minutes to 30 minutes definitely does not sound interesting but rather annoying. I am happy with these changes tbh.

With anubis counter you can continue a combo if the stand you fight doesnt have a time skip,with pierce strike you have range to stun the player and continue with m1s
Hopefully lag the main thing that stops me from playing this game gets fixed. Especially for remodeled stands and assets becoming too laggy. Like for kq btd and scr both of these stands make me lag. Sbr game ques need to be set up differently so that u can play with ur friends properly and add a limit to friends probably three max. Spin balls being way too hard to hit becuz of the bugginess really annoying. Also adding a move to sticky fingers like a beatdown and probably another move becuz the stand is too counterable and its not as good after the update so why not have a beatdown to help it get better or a long range punch(probably not)? Personally would love to see new models for tusk act four again just becuz i love the new remodel of love train they are doing and etc. Would love to see new moves for dfourc(sorry my numbers from one through four are broken) so its boring play style really can be something more and rework most of his old moves from being too buggy. Tusk act four should have a rework with beatdown probably more manga accurate, visually more pleasing, shorter, less loud, and deal more damage in a short time while dealing the same or similar damage in total becuz having tusk act four do so little damage to people with meat shield or any other type of defense is a waste damage wise(kinda). Only good side to using the current beatdown is cd reset becuz how long the beatdown takes to finish, combo extension if the player doesnt teleport or lag all over the place, and the player getting the stand removed. Lastly I absolutely love the scr and hamon balances but why have the scr cooldown for the barrages vary over one another? Then lemme guess what moves does he have? Barrage choose one over the other at specific times? what combos does he have now? I think he should have more moves so the stand can have variety in one v ones becuz now in solo matches it kinda sucks becuz no cheese means the stand sucks. His cooldowns are ridiculously too long for the running move and yos(only as of rn becuz the update will make it worse to stall for cooldowns unless u are running). And ik it isnt about me but i dont like playing a game where running will be the only way to play a certain style to playing a stand. So the only thing holding up the stand is running move(kinda), pilot mode, arrow barrage(if the move would work better than lagging like before) and cw which the cooldown nearly takes forever which is fine since it is a team stand but i think to fix this maybe make people in gangs not get affected?(probably will be too op nvm) but other than that solid balances and the ppl of the team have my thanks havent played this game in 9 months becuz of all the boring cheese and repetition. I have a stupid idea for twau's revolver, they add a quick time event for it when you block, if you do it right you steal the gun and shoot them, fail it you get block broken, yeah it's pretty stupid Lmao
To make vola barrage, aerosmith's only unique and useful move, have the same duration as with normal stands would kinda make it as if it was ice album since it would still be lackluster in moves and aerosmith's only ever specialty is to stall
Iframes on the bloodsuck kind of screws up any viability of using vampire in 2v2 since freeze is kind of a meh move and stingy eyes usually hits your teammates and the opponent and it actually does good damage meaning you just take a chunk out of your teammates hp also the hamon against vampire advantage should be worse but still stay since it’s an indirect nerf to hamon

I would personally like to maybe see another sbr Stand with stone free maybe ball breaker aka gyros stand it would most likley have infinite rotation maybe have some ranged moves to like wormhole steel ball like johhny u would throw it and if it misses is would go back to the enemy and then maybe som stun moves and then a move similar to your own shadow
I will be kinda impossible since ball breaker wasn't shown that much because of the imperfect steel ball also btw ball breaker is the manifestation of the infinite spin, but adding scan with ball breaker might work
why is there no platinum slam shouldn't be perfect blocked and just be blocked balance here. Its just a move that hits the ground I see no chance of it ever getting pbed that way :/
I just fought a d4c LT and the match took fucking 50 min. If they are making it so that you cant pose when minions are out for scary monsters, why can d4c pose during clones and LT? also why is LT's cd 2 seconds. I'm fr malding so hard rn
