I think it's impossible to have a "solo sbr" gamemode, because people will always find a way to team up no matter what, even without chat or server selection.

Paragon uses "your own shadow to himself" Is he dumb or something? He's like: mod spec against team goes brr

Worst thing is this change doesn't apply at all to Aerosmith; a stand with a barrage with both longer duration and longer range on top of a quick pilot to catch opponents, making it basically the god of ganking.

I feel like a way to make the anti ganking update work would be to only allow the change to work in main game and casual SBR and leave 2v2s and Comp alone. The reason I say casual is because there is going to be more starters in there and lower lvl players, so disabling ganking might allow players to have a chance at winning and not being ganked. And as for 2v2’s it speaks for it self.

When the mods are so down bad and dog water that they have to nerf teaming when they have literal mod specs that are 3x better than your average spec or stand

The thing about being outnumbered, you should never EXPECT to win. However, it'd be a damn shame if you didn't give it your all to at least TRY to win.

for me, i NEVER play sbr with other people. 95% of the time (not exaggerating btw) i play by myself. but i completely agree that sbr is a team based game, and i agree that this change should be reverted. its clearly a team based game. i like the challenge aspect of it.

I remember a long while ago I was able to solo wipe SBR servers with HP Vampire, it's entirely possible to fight a group alone if you know what you're doing. This update is really bad

As a Mr. President main, this Change almost completely gutted the stand. Mr. President was only effective in teamplay, which it now lacks entirely. Currently there is no reason to play this stand while alternatives such as 6p or CD exist. Beyond upsetting.

Thing is, you can still team in sbr and 2v2s without barraging and getting a true combo. It’s just harder but still makes sense

I agree 100% with you here because it destroyers the point of teaming or helping your friends in gang wars or 2V2 which what makes YBA so enjoyable, if Uzu see's this please for the love of God remove this feature.

Eclipse putting this stuff on a plate for uzu and the mods and they still manage to somehow make the game even worse. These mods abusing mod specs and that one time they lose cause of people either being forced to team on them or they actually use skill to beat their broken specs they complain about "ganking" or "too OP stand, nerf it". Uzu should just remove mod specs in general to teach mods how to actually play the game.

There's a very simple change to this: ONLY PUT THIS CHANGE IN MAIN GAME.

In my opinion there should be a vote before the game starts, the vote being something on the lines of : Barrage intervention enabled, Barrage intervention enabled. This lets the server choose, and should have barrage intervention enabled in 2v2’s. By barrage interventions I mean people can damage you when your in a barrage with another person.

Being barraged by two or more people is hella annoying, but I don't think they should dissolve the idea completely. Personally, I think they should make it when being attacked by more than 1 person, DPS is reduced and maybe even damage in general, this would also make sense because in reality, there are limits to where a person can punch. The thing I think they should keep is the comb potential between many people (eg, person one does barrage, after completion of the barrage, person 2 does barrage, and etc). This is a team-like game and it would only make sense if this feature were to exist. Apart from these specific ideas, nothing else comes to mind. Ohh and the first idea may be a stretch idk.

I remember I was doing sbr for spin by myself and found a gang of 9 people at the last stage, they all were using diavolo hair... It was a horrible experience.

Eclipse can you please continue the footage of your last battles if you dont finish them and after your outro there’s a clip of you fighting the player because it is very entertaining and that’s 30% of the reason of why I watch these type of videos

Even if they did do a solo mode for sbr, there's people on that one rock that go there to team up, so there would still be teams even if it's meant for solo

But one thing is that if someone is barraging someone that isn’t barraging back, the barrager can still be hit by other things, so you just need more coordination from your teammate for them to stop barraging

Eclipse deserves to be a mod in yba. If he was a mod bugs would be fixed by now.

Also a Bonus to the course: Try to get the Enemies into a situation where your Stand is better than their Stands. Example: if you play against a group of ranged Stands, try to get close to them.

The worst part is that half of the time the feature doesnt work, you can still sometimes get hit if you are at the edge of the barrage

Mr pres is also useless for the user using it since the heal love is basically useless and it could decide whether you win or not since in sbr, 1v1s, and 2v2s it kick you out when the exit pops up but for the user it kicks you out in less than 3-5 seconds

I still cant get over the fact that they made twoh reality overwriting punch cancelable like bruh. Twoh IS MEANT to be broken so why the hell would yall nerf it??? The dev team is absolutley terrible.

I've been playing a lot of SBR and I haven't noticed it much despite usually teaming with randoms. Maybe it's because I use D4C Hamon and haha clone spam + gun go brrrt. But tbh it's pretty buggy usually and I can easily still hit my victim clones and gun on two people barraging. And I've seen lots of dual barrages go off. Maybe I just don't notice though.

i wish they'd change how the sbr lobby would work, like you should be able to invite a friend and its random, the amount of 8-12 people teams i see is more than 2 man teams

just wanted to say that a great way to make SBR not so ganky is simply adding a random server SBR gamemode where you cant server select meaning you can't make massive coordinated teams. then solo SBR can be its own gamemode.

You can block after someone barrages you. You can pb another player's move since they use like erasure or even kick barrage after the barrage

Guilty gear does a great thing called the developer back yard where the devs will take questions from fans about the game and talk about the changes they’re making before they make it and will talk about their intent with the changes so if they do something like that I feel as tho this sort of thing wouldn’t be as likely to happen as they would have to think about the change a lot more and communicate that with their fans.

The thing that angers me and make me look down on mods more is that they said they watched the video and give reasons why they think they're still right. Then they give their reasons as to why they think the update is justified when there are specific points in the video where Eclipse literally explained already why they're wrong. Maybe they saw the video but they just skipped everything and didn't understand or maybe they just don't really know how cooperation works and they want it out of the game so that they don't have to figure out how it does.

For sbr it’s only because you could one shot in barrages with teams. For instance, you could have a barrage stand, 6p and the hand. when you get barrages, you can get multi shot confirmed followed by confirmed erasure.

There are more important things to fix like the many horse bugs in sbr, people being falsely banned (although i haven’t heard this one happening in a while) and more things i can’t think of (excuse my bad english, i am not a native english speaker)

It's a pretty bad update but I gotta say that it helped me dealing with teamers, but then my friend came to help me so I saw the problems. Edit: nvm what eclipse did is what happened tbh and it didn't help cuz my friend couldn't kidnap someone barraging me.

I think a way to fix this update would be to make a way that if your teamed with somebody, like sbr or 2v2s, you can use. A barrage on somebody and then your team mate can use moves on them. And if your not officially teamed with somebody (i.e. not in a team where the game allows you to team) your moves don’t do damage to people in a barrage.

Yba is a game adaptation of the anime JoJo’s bizarre adventure, everyone can agree on that right? In JoJo characters can win against the odds if they play it smart and use the things around them, in yba’s case the same applies, if you play it smart and use things to your advantage you can also win. Teaming is one of those things you can use to your advantage, and just like in jojo it can improves your odds of survival or decrease them if you’re playing with stands that aren’t great for teamwork. And as much as it sucks to get teamed on, you always feel great if you manage to win. And the same goes for the other way around, sometimes you need more people to defeat an enemy. What was my point? Idk, I kinda forgot halfway through writing this.

I was trying to get twoh recently yesterday and I did all of the sbr kills and something I noticed as a above average player it was a hell of a lot easier to do 2v1s and I was using tw against like c moon trios

this is why I watch Eclipse he have strong arguments even if its an opinion he makes it sound like a fact and I agree on those facts, some stuff dose not need nerfs or someway of making it bad there are other solutions that makes teaming not that affective for example teaming I could just team with my friends to fight teamers easy right

i honestly think the way they should anti gang is this: the more people attaack you the less damage you take and deal out slightly more damage per each person if over 4 people attack you within 10 seconds then you gain knockdown resistence (knockback still applies but you dont get ragdolled) this way team combos still exist but give the user a chance to actually escape but also remove that chance if everything is calculated within a vc

I wanna counter claim the “how to counter teamers” part with the short clip. Players don’t play like AI, it is very unpredictable when they are going to barrage and teamers don’t always use barrages to catch people. There is a wide verity of things people can do to essentially catch the solo player instead of barraging. So the whole “I can just block and dash out of a barrage is counter play” doesn’t really show that the barrage change was not needed.

Well there are still other kinds of barrage that allow ganking like the arrow barrage, the boxing barrage, the sunlight yellow overdrive, the kick barrage, the vola barrage and the 6 pistols G move( I don't remember it's name) . I mean those are not few. Also when only one person barrage you can damage them so if they barrage back and they are stupid enough to not back up and run away, they will get a ridiculous amount of damage. Anyways I didn't like the change from the start so🤝
