@@funfeels not really tho some stand users are just bad at utilizing there stands and are just using the basics I can give you some examples if you want
@@DDDDDDDD1 Unless you only block midway through it, as there are many situations in which your barrage partially misses. Outside of that, any decent player won't take more than like 1 barrage of damage before they're close enough to stunlock you, which you can't avoid since you can't barrage back. Yes, the bombs are unblockable, but they apply a short knockdown rather than guardbreaking and stunning. This means you can basically pre-block vola barrage and unblock toward the end to take like 20 damage, and then walk in for free.
Fighting mih with sticky fingers is hilarious, to see them try to run before losing all movement is priceless, a panicking mih is the funniest thing ever
@@someguyyoufoundonyoutube8744 If even one of those moves are cancelled in 1v1s Consider the MIH player dead -coming from an MIH main who loops the two moves
"What am i gonna do against annoying players" Also him: have a block-break barrage, 1.3 dmg, a lot more longer than normal barrage, barrage have god range, have pilot, have unblockable bombs, have passive
Ideas to what they can add to Sticky Fingers 1. Beatdown (based off the one he gave to Pesci) 2. Arm whip: like arm extend but knock-backs instead of bringing the enemy towards (similar to Hermit’s double vine slap) 3. Make Zipper uppercut not perfect block-able but allow avoidance by dash, similar to Void Surprise with the difference that it block-breaks instead of bypassing
I don’t find slowly killing your opponent by mashing zipper punch constantly until the point your opponent cant walk fun. Either you are weird or I am.
@@turkishgrandmaexplode Welp that is not so fun now you mentioned xd For me is fun because I can do a lot of pressure to the enemy doing zipper punch and extend arm, for the enemy is annoying asf but at least for me is funny xdd
@@notvex3987 I disagree if you don’t have a spec with damage reduction you lose so even the stands that work still need a spec and the ones that do are just stall and they lose because they do no damage
Hey Eclipse! I mained sf for a really long time and I wanted to tell you that zipper uppercut is NOT worthless. It's actually really good, let me explain. The stun on the move confirms into other stun moves such as eye gouge and zoom punch and can be used to create some nasty combos. You can totally avoid its parryable detriment by disabling the enemy's block with zipper punch. The way you do this is by zipper punching a blocking opponent. They wont be able to use their block for a few seconds afterwards and you can punish them very easily with zipper uppercut. The stun on this move is crazy long, and in game modes like sbr you can use it to get up to areas where your friends are able to but you are not. Sadly these things dont make the move anywhere close to top tier but you can get some really good damage and pressure off of the move if you throw it out at the correct time. It does partially work against timestop if you use it next to someone, too, but this isnt a super reliable anti-ts method so it's nothing to go crazy about.
@@carlos2villalobos276 I've never seen anybody counter it with m1ing, and I'm well aware sf has no anti ts. However, sf can outperform most ts stands and it applies pressure perfectly against them.
@@doi5451 How does SF out-pressure TWAU exactly ? And how does SF avoid Ora Kicks timestop from SPTW ? In fact, how does SF even deals with every timestopping stands ?
@@vivelespatat2670 zipper punch is stupidly broken and cannot be cancelled unless you're knocked down. it has a very short cd and let's you turn the tide of an interaction just by pressing x at the right time. Twau doesn't handle this well at close range because it heavily relies on the way it cancels moves with knives and m1s, and it can't cancel zipper punch. Sptw is a lot more dangerous because the ora kicks are damn near instant and when it's followed up with ts you can kiss half of your health bar goodbye. Otherwise, you can still outperform a sptw with sf boxing. Same deal with twoh and smite
Really glad seeing the more in depth analysis of the moves effect, always fun to watch and that even more, because I see the quality getting better and better. Keep going Eclipse!
I wish stands were more versatile in these jojo games like imagine sticky fingers creating zippers wherever it wants to go through objects or star platinum being able to throw random items
Eclipse, for extend arm it can counter ranged stands like SCR or cmoon, because extend arm is coded to bring in the USER and it works on stands, so no matter the distance extent arm is going to bring them close to you practically making pilot useless
Still thinking about the time Eclipse was playing HP Hamon against TWOH Spin during the dark days of the one shot TS combo, and he said “needs heal” “needs hamon”
There is a way to avoid time stop stands with the uppercut move, even tho it's very risky because sometimes it can get you inside of the floor and make you an easy target
When I was pres 2 I abused that a lot becuase of all the max level sptw players tryna bully me. I actually killed a ton of people once I got boxing, the rage they felt gave me joy.
I have to point out that your favourite stand and second favourite stand is from the Brando family but I can't say anything about it the brando family literally carry the story for three parts and maybe four if you count part 7 with 1,3and5
We need another Sticky Fingers "Rework" We need them to add a 2nd barrage that puts barrage on cooldown, or a buff for barrage where you can use a "ranged" barrage, which I more or less mean as a barrage that has the hitbox farther in front of you. It'd be a rly interesting move for the kit, as well as nice representation for the Ari beatdown on Pesci in the actual series. It'd be rly epic, ngl.
Hey, if u main sticky fingers, ur my idol, cuz eclipse says that "it's just zipper punch" when it's not like that, the other three moves that it has are not useless, the zipper glide is good so u can run into ur opponent and hit ANY attack that sf has or a spec attack like the freezing of vampire then using zipper punch and suck then zipper punch dash m1m1 freeze and there's and "infinite" combo, ik it's not real against ppl that parries the m1s then dashes, just counter or time skip but ¡hey! lot's of damages also if they dashes, u could continue with the combo with the extended arm then freezing, zipper punch, suck and when they scape, im sure they will have half of their hp less.
I see the extra work that was put in this video compared to previous stand reviews in 2021. Eclipse you said you would try to improve the quality of your videos in 2022 and I can truly see it.
If u stacked 2 zipper punch u can actualy barage first without geting punish cuz they cant move while baraging so if u barage them at the limit of their barage u can go back and get a free ziper punch
I literally have so many ideas about Sticky Fingers moveset! Here's one: - "Ari Ari Ari!" Barrage [E]: A simple barrage of punches dealing 1.2 damage. - "Arriverdeci. "Stand Barrage Finisher [R]: A strong barrage finisher dealing 9.6 damage. - Zipper Punch [X]: An unblockable and unparriable punch that stuns your enemy for about 10 seconds dealing 9.6 damage, also adding some cooldown to it. - "Are you ready? Because I am." Sticky Counter [G]: The user poses and dodges the opponent's move rushing and punching him dealing 15 damage. - "You won't run away!" Pole Throw [Y]: Sticky Fingers throws a pole at a high speed, dealing 15 damage as well, also leaving the opponent bleeding for about 5 seconds. - Extend Arm [T]: The stand pulls the foe at a medium range, dealing 8.8 damage, being an blockable move, but it still pulls you. - Zipper Glide [Z]: The user glides on the ground for 10 seconds. So. The "Are you ready? Because I am." move it is a reference to Bruno vs Prosciutto fight when they were clashing against each other. The "You won't run away!" move it is a reference when he was fighting Secco, then he throws the Pole at him. I still have so many ideas about SF moveset because I am literally a fan about this stand.
SF's moves are fine right now. It's not like CD, where your literal only option is to get rage and land a really easily PB'd move while you quite literally have 1 attack move before raging. Also, the amount of counter moves in YBA need to be limited. If they have no windup, they're pretty much overpowered. If they have a windup like Anubis's counter, they're pretty much useless.
@@logandabrute I see. I just really like making movesets if I actually knew how to code on Roblox. It would be fun if the developers actually heard the community.
What would be cool I’d the ability to form zips on your body so the attacks will hit the zips instead Seems like a very good move or some kind of counter
What if Uzu added Each rage stand has a unique rage function: TW: Rage boosts TS Length to 8 seconds. SP: Increases damage. TWAU: Buffs projectiles. CD: Removes half of stun and prevents stand crashing. All TS Stands, rage or not, will be able to TS at any time, rage stands have a longer TS cooldown. Remove TS Mastery. Make all TS last 5 seconds. Make SPTW TS last 3 seconds but there's 0 startup animation. Is able to be used while walking, but can not be used while sprinting. Awakenings: SPTW: Gives the moves less start up. GER: Shortens all cooldowns and buffs life related moves (e.g Beam of Creation, Bird, Tree, healings) Make RTZ cutscene be played even when not in TS. Make Barrage and Finisher go on cooldown upon activating RTZ outside of TS or TE. Make GER's destructive power same as SP, TW, KC or just same as GE. Make all Counters have shortened start up (maybe 4 or 3 frames) Hamon's damage buff nerfed a little. (Any more ideas?)
There is one thing about glide. I don't know if you know this buft if you use the glide you can't go up ladders for example. The game seems to make a big invisble box attach to the front of your character, coliding with everything possible. Even small ledges can be difficult to get over
4:13 and that's where you are wrong. Zipper Glide is an fast traveling option to get out of situations , despite not being able to throw moves during it.
1. Blocking extend arm isn't extremely helpful. If you throw something out like a heavy or a combo move, they can adapt to you doing this repeatedly and block or PB it. Also, blocking extend arm isn't really very easy unless you predict it, but the time you spend pre-blocking it is time that the SF can use to get close to you and zipper punch you. 2. No, zipper glide is actually really useful. Yes, terrain causes it to mess up, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't apply to the noncollide grass in 1v1s (I don't recall). And even if it does, main game allows the SF to just focus flat ground to use glide on. This means the SF can chase you with a somewhat low cooldown, really fast and long movement ability ontop of also having a giant pull. 3. You can't just act like you're not gonna get hit by zipper punch, and just m1ing won't stop it. If you keep going in for just m1s, the SF can use its uncancelable zipper punch when he sees you approaching. And even if he misses, he doesn't lose anything because that move has a 5 second cooldown. I suppose if the SF you're fighting can't adapt at all or you're using an extremely overpowered stand, then I can imagine you fighting the SF through zipper punch and winning. But if you get zipper punched twice in 18 seconds, you pretty much get your ass whooped because you become so slow they can camp your recovery.
Can we just appreciate how eclipse just stand reviews S F again? like litterally, we got a similar video where he does the same thing kinda, but i think that was from months ago... and oh man i just love the way eclipse is being brutally honest and explaining why this game needs a massive change and an actual update. (Plus That Would Be Grateful of uzu if he changed his mind about these stupid skin updates, and make an free fighting style storage.) please eclipse read this comment for the love of god, i just want to appreciate of how much you want this game to change for the better.
really good the editing is great i used to play a lot of SF so this is incredibly true my first shiny was pinky toes (pink sticky fingers) ts is a very good counter love the work want to see more build or bust
I had sticky fingers as my first stand and I thought it was rare until having the dream for ge because I figured the story is like part 5. It helped me kill bruno after many attempts, unlocking zipper pull
