@@caitlinmariereacts I felt so bad 😂 when you thought tis the damn season was a Christmas song and Long Story Short was a Story of Us play off. I just wanted to jump in my screen and hug you. 😂
@@joej6482 yes please, it doesn't have to be hard rock or metal. Some stuff like state of grace, long live, haunted and like lover. Some rock ballads and stuff
am I the only one that first, listens to the album and has a breakdown, then second, opens youtube and watches other people getting a breakdown because of this album???😀
nope, same! i put off watching evermore reactions for a month bc i wanted to listen to the album first, so that other youtubers’ opinions would not define how i saw the songs
That’s what I do! It’s comforting to know and see people who share or relate to the songs 💖 like we all went through something and it’s going to be ok:) haha
16:00 & that is why our favorite artist is named Artist of the Decade. I wouldn‘t be surprised if Taylor was Artist of the Century when we‘re all old & gray.
I know right. It's my absolute favourite. I mean falling in love is such a beautiful.... But walking away from it? My god that must feel like getting your heart ripped out. And if you think about it, maybe when Dorothea comes back the next festival season, the guy could've moved on. And she'll have to see them everytime. Oof :((
3 albums, 34 songs(including only the young, Christmas tree farm and eyes open, I think), 2 concert films, 1 documentary and also 3 or 4 music videos(I'm not sure) in the last 16 months!!!!!!😲😲
Lana in Million Dollar Man: One for the money. Two for the show. I love you honey I’m ready to go Taylor in Champagne Problems: One for the money. Two for the show. I was never ready. So I watch you go
@@angelashinner i just saw the rumors on twitter even before evermore was released. like there were supposed to be a collab but i guess lana rejected it because she doesn’t really collabs with artists unless it’s a song on her album

With a big cake, happy birthday - Jake Gyllenhaal(The moment I knew) Did I paint your bluest skies the darkest grey? - John Mayer(Dear John) And when I got into the accident - Harry Styles(out of the woods) The sight that flashed before me was your face- Tom Hiddleston(Getaway Car) But when I walked up to the podium I think that I forgot to say your name- Calvin Harris(I forgot that you existed)
guys hear me out! folklore has 16 tracks (excluding the bonus track) and evermore has 15 tracks. 16+15=31 Taylors favorite number backwards. (shes also gonna turn 31 soon)
Nbnc is my number one favorite Taylor Swift song my Stan almost every time it comes on I have to belt it out at the top of my lungs unless I’m at school or something and don’t want to embarrass myself with my horrible singing
In Coney Island, I think she’s referencing her ex boyfriends! The accident is Harry in OOTW, not mentioning a name at the podium is Calvin when he won an award for TIWYCF and didn’t thank Taylor, the birthday reference is Jake Gylenhall, bluest skies to darkest gray is a nod to Dear John!
I just took it as a relationship that is neglectful... like you're in a relationship and didn't appreciate the person enough before it was too late and you grew apart/split up... and then you later realize what you had after you lost it. I'm not sure it's about several specific exes or anything but it's an interesting take
No body no crime is hands down one of the best track on this album, I really want this as a single, The music video would execute the song storyline so good
I found out about the album while looking through the comment section of your last video. It took me a full minute to register the information, and about 10 minutes to fully resurrect myself from the dead. Also, it was 3 AM here in Australia, and I didn't know what time midnight was in (whatever timezone it was released in), so I just stayed up all night until it dropped, but I was so sleep deprived that I couldn't even tell if she was singing in English.
I'm sorry but if you took HAIM out of 'No Body, No Crime', it wouldn't hit the same way. The ambience that their backing vocals and ad-libs give the track is what makes the song so fantastic. Given that Taylor chose to include Este as the center of the story, HAIM's involvement adds a level of depth that would be missing without them. Those heavy, moody backing vocals contrast so nicely with Taylor's lighter, breathier sound. Also, let's be honest here. Danielle's "She was with me, dude" in the bridge was a god-tier production choice. 👌
I was literally making a smoothie yesterday listening to folklore. And I said ‘imagine if she made a double deluxe ,giving us like 3 new songs’ And I was joking. but literally as I finished what I was saying she was like. Evermore is out tonight 🥲
Literally TWO DAYS AGO I was kinda sad I missed the chance to spread Taylor love on my Facebook back when Folklore came out because I realized I'd never talked about her on my Facebook! My family and friends don't even know I listen to her, let alone that I LOVE her! Hell, they might not even KNOW Taylor (she's not big in my country, and they don't know "new" American music)! I'm always active on Twitter, never on Facebook. And I thought it would be weird and awkward to like and comment on Taylor's old Folklore posts, maybe? I thought it might be months until she releases anything new (I was counting on the re-recording of her debut album). I thought I'd missed my chance! But it's like the goddesses heard me! I keep commenting on, and liking, all her Evermore posts, and now I guess my family and friends know about it, know about her! It's the oddest coincidence, like.... :O
The second I saw that *_evermore_* was going to be released, I was worried you might've passed out. I certainly did. And I love how you missed that curse in _'champagne problems'_ 😂
Whenever I listen to "closure", I like to picture Taylor beating the crap out of a scooter while screaming, "I don't need your 'closure'!!!!" Hope this image makes you smile and lightens your mood.😁

there are rumors about a collaboration between lana and taylor on lana's next album, and i love the fact that taylor in champagne problems says "one for the money, two for the show" as lana says in million dollar man; i was like 😲
just wanted to tell you caitlin, dorothea was in the same school of betty and james, that's what Taylor told before the willow premeire started. loved the reaction, i understand you.
For me Dorothea is Selena bc she says "sellin makeup and magazines" which Sel did, "a tiny screen is the only place where i see you now" bc she mostly sees her in media, "And if you're ever tired of bеing known for who you know" not even gonna say that rat's name SO YES DOROTHEA IS FOR SELENA
@@sreegitabose8493 I mean, it doesn’t really seems like a friendship song, like, even if it were, it would be about a broken one, a friendship that is already falling apart, which doesn’t really parallels with Taylor/Selena relationship
Ivy is about an affair, the feeling of just can’t stop having those deep feelings for that forbidding person while being married to someone else, beautiful but sad song. I love that chorus , it’s one of my favorites
the fact that its about a queer affair too (its a popular theory the songs about emily dickinson and her affair with her sister in law, Sue) because she mentions them both having husbands and im fairly certain shes singing from a female perspective...even better
Her grandmother Marjorie actually back vocals "Marjorie" and also fun fact Epiphany and Marjorie are respectively at 13 talking about her grand parents
Folklore deserves album of the year. Future Nostalgia deserves Pop Vocal Album of the year. Evermore is so superior it doesnt even need a grammy. Fight me on it.
Taylor said in the long pond sessions that those strings were made by a specially tuned custom guitar that Aaron Dessner gifted her and she just fell in love with it. Maybe she reused it
Marjorie is about her grandma. I went the the eras tour this summer, and my grandma died the day before the concert, so when she preformed Marjorie at the concert I cried my eyes out
Caitlin: I don’t know if this album is happier or just that I’m happier. Yay! Then proceeds to cry uncontrollably non-stop during Marjorie. And literally the entire album.
I am the only one that I realized about Champagne Problems title on Evermore album? That, Katy had Champagne Problems title too on Smile album. No? Just me? Ok. 💖
my body just absorbed the folklore just last month i think and so i'm not mentally prepared for this, but a good one though, just need to listen to it over and over
Can you please check out Marina Diamanids? Her albums are: The Family Jewels, Electra Heart, FROOT and Love + Fear. Thanks and I love your videos 🥺💖 sorry for spamming it :(
I saw a tweet that said Dorothea could be about Selena, the person who tweeted it explained with the lyrics and maybe it's not about her. (Dorothea is character from a film called ( OZ ) (I'm not sure with the name) and the tweet said it is selena's favorite film.
The unscensored version of Champagne Problems hits a lot harder, instead of "she's stuck in her head" it's "she's fucked in the head" and it hits way harder especially because of the surrounding lyrics and I can't recall any other song she says fuck in
Happiness killed me as much as it did to you. Haven't re-listnened to it till I watched your reaction, cause it hurts so bad ahah I'm happy you're doing better !!
