Dude, I just finished a Warrior and am going through a Mage (currently done with one Awakening main quest) in my recent effort to finish this game with all the builds I thin are cool.
Ive tried getting into Dragon Age so many times, but the second i hit combat it just kills it for me, kinda like BG3. Im interested in the story and characters, but the gameplay puts me off so bad 😅
Funnily enough I was actually the same way to start with, I wasn't a huge fan of how Origins played initially. I understand if you just can't, but I do recommend bearing with it (for both it and BG3 - and even other games like Divinity: Original Sin 2) purely for how rich the story and setting of these games are. Like me, you may even come around to enjoying the combat over time!
@@ThiefofCrystals ive tried DOS2, got to Act 2, got to act 3 in BG3, and I find that the combat is the only thing that makes me want to quit. Like if I see more than 5 enemies in an encounter I just know this is gonna take forever and is not worth it. Turn based combat being mostly menus feels like trying to do taxes for fun
@@avetruetocaesar541 I said Dragon Age in general. Look at Dragon Age : Inquisition cover which is copying Dragon's Dogma. Some parts in Dragon Age 2 is exactly like Grigori final battle in Dragon's Dogma, the high dragon fight at the mine. Although the game released a year before Dragon's Dogma. I don't know, perhaps someone in Bioware have connection somehow with Dragon's Dogma devs?
