You stopped “Kim” too early. The sound at the beginning is the at the end of Kim too. Even though he released this first he put it in Kim to show its one full story. And 97 Bonnie and Clyde was written first. Kim came out on his third album... this one was on his second.

I remember hearing this song for the first time back in 1999 when i was 14. I heard My Name Is on a TV channel in the UK called The Box and asked my parents if they would buy me Em's album. Thankfully they brought me a the CD (cutting edge technology at the time for me! lol). When 97 Bonnie and Clyde played i just sat there in silence with my jaw on the floor! I couldn't believe what i was hearing! Crazy, crazy song! Been hooked on Eminem since!
He was actually with Kim when he made this, he snuck Hailie out of the house while Kim was out grocery shopping or something and took her to the studio to record her part...... when Kim found out about it, she gave him hell for it....... lol I remember seeing that in an old interview with Em..... he said Kim went nuts on his ass when she found out, lol

Been listening Eminem from 1997 and been hooked since I heard his first song. This is how genius em is. This song was actually the conclusion of "Kim" but this album came out before Kim. So he actually buried her in album 1 and then told you how he killed her in album 2

The really funny thing is that this is not only one of(if not) The only Eminem track/s without any profanity, it came out before the track Kim(which was on his Marshall Mathers lp).
