Hi John, those machines are the new All Star IIIs near the Planet Moolah slot machines. Unfortunately I don’t know what is more annoying… the thunking from Caveman or “Attack from the Planet Moolah!” announcements when someone is playing those. That is the only good pay table on that bank though, bonus is 6/5 and double double bonus is 8/5.

Hello… they both have their strong points. Pala, has great pay tables at the $1 coin denomination & up, in fact, they are the best in the world. But, they have less machines than Pechanga. Plus, Pala is a smoking casino, which I don’t like, but I do put up with it because the pay tables are so awesome. Pechanga, has great pay tables, at 5¢ coin denominations, all the way up to $100 coin denominations. And they have at least 300-400 (or more) video poker machines. And, it is a non-smoking casino. And they have 1,000 rooms+ vs. Pala’s approximately 500+ rooms. Pechanga has over 200,000 ft.² of casino floor space. They also have the best spa, the best pool complex, and a great many number of restaurants of all types and variety. Both are great casinos. If you do one, you have to do them both!!! They are only 15 minutes away from each other. If you’re gambling in Southern California, and you don’t go to, Pala, or Pechanga, then that would be a huge mistake. Harrah’s SoCal (approximately 20 minutes away from both of them) has the worst pay tables in the business. So, I no longer play there. They’re screwing over their customers right & left. So sad to see that. If you ever come to Southern California, I would gladly meet you at Pechanga or Pala. Just give me advance notice. Thank you for subscribing and commenting on my channel!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

Yes, I had 2 Royals that night on that bank of 8 machines that have been there forever. I’ve had so many royals on that bank of machines there, so I am sad to see them go. I cut my teeth on Video Poker at Harrah’s Southern California. But ever since they switched out all the good games, I rarely ever go there anymore. From what it used to be, it is unrecognizable to me now, so I spend my time at, Pechanga & Pala. And, of course, at places that I love in Vegas, such as, Red Rock, The Palms, & South Point. Great question. I have a lot of sessions that go “un-filmed” for RU-vid. I consider them my “make money” sessions. So, I bring 1,000 coin bankrolls to those and try to play strictly “near-perfect” strategy on those sessions. My latest videos have been off the same $2,000 “house-money” bankroll that I won from the casino. I am very careful to just try to “break-even” on these filmed sessions. Since I’ve been hitting Quads (“early” in these videos), I’ve already decided in advance, that I’m not going to push my luck too far. The goal is to play as long as possible, and then, “cash out” at the break even point. Of course, I’m hoping for the Royal Flush or 4 Aces to show up for the Big Win, but if it doesn’t occur, then I consider the breakeven point “a win”, (because all those free shots at big money, occurred at zero-cost to me. I also wanted to demonstrate in the video, that even if you’re slightly underfunded, sometimes, that good things CAN happen. So, I’m willing to “push the envelope“ in hopes of hitting a $20,000 Royal (off of a very small House-money bankroll), just to show the viewers that it can be done. I haven’t hit the $20,000 Royal Flush yet on film. But I am sure it will happen at some point this year. I still recommend, however, on money-making sessions, that you maintain the 1,000 coin rule whenever you’re out there playing. Bonus Poker is just a “grinder’s” game. If you stick with it and play with it long enough (to the exclusion of everything else), you will discover that it is a moneymaking gold mine compared to the other games.
