Yes, he’s very busy running his business, and keeping-up with all the sports teams that his kids participate in, which unfortunately leaves less time for filming and editing content. It’s hard to believe that, he and I, met during the pandemic, 4 years ago, this August. We have played and done a lot together, all over Vegas, Reno, and Southern California, during the first 2 years. Those early days, were the good old days; and if it weren’t for him, I never would have started a channel. We had such a blast setting up “our crew” of players during that time. He, and his family, have visited my home before, and we have played at all my local casinos together. I miss him, as much as you do!🥹🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Nice run John! I had a great session this morning myself! Playing $5 coin 7/5 BP hit 4 Aces first, then a straight flush, then not even 20 hands later while waiting for my hand pay 4 to the Royal popped up 10d, Jd, Qd, Kd (same exact hand you got!) I was hoping for another SF when the Ad showed itself for a $23,900 progressive Royal! What a nice surprise that was! The machine was definitely rolling! I chased it a bit last weekend and got chewed up, so this was a nice redemption! I played over 4 hours on $800.
Holy Moly!!! What a great run and a great story!!! Especially, since you lasted for long, had hand pay hits along the way, and ended with (of all things) a progressive Royal Flush for $20,000 with an extra $3,900 to boot. Where were you playing? So well done. Stud!!!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
@@johnsworldofvideopoker Thank you John! I don't want to give too much away, but it was at Hard Rock. I like to play early in the morning to avoid the crowds, loud music, and smoke. The funny part is they were coming through to empty the cash boxes and made me cash out and leave the HL room. When they were done I came back and it all happened in under 60 minutes! Before that it was just a straight up grind. Much like you talked about in the video. I was never up or down more than $400. The 2 pair and pairs kept me in it. This video was a dead ringer for my session today. Grinded it out and was rewarded with 3 hand pays and a progressive. 👏👏👏 I've learned much from @johnsworldofvideopoker and @Slotmassacre

Yes, I do, but usually only when I have to keep “coining-down” to preserve the bankroll. I have hit 6 Royal Flushes on the 25¢ coin denomination, which represents approximately 13% of all the Royals that I have ever hit. All coin denominations of play are fun and exciting to me. That’s a lot of play so good for you. I did notice a few errors in this session, much more than the others, so I think you were getting a little tired. Also given the worse pay table at 50 cent, I would have stayed at $1 all the way. I know you like coining up and down but given the worse pay table I don’t like going lower.
Yes, I was playing way too fast, and hanging with friends at the same time, and I tend to get distracted easily under those conditions. I haven’t really kept up with simulator practice lately either. Also, with nearly 2.6M possible hands, mistakes are going to be made by everyone, no matter what. It’s just “part” of the game. What I’m really after is what I’ve always called, “sloppy near perfect” play (which lately, I’ve been sloppy, sloppy, sloppy, near perfect play😂).Ultimately, I’m just really waiting for 2, 3, or 4 to the Royal cards to “show-up” and convert to big wins on larger coin denominations. Since the game is random in nature (where anything can happen, at any time), I’m relying more on that aspect of the game, than on any other one factor, to score big wins. Still, you’re correct, some of my errors were simple ones that could have and should have been avoided. I will work on that. Thank you for your comments, Henry.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

Greetings from Torrance! Well done sir! To get this much play from free money is just incredible! I did a rough calculation of how many hands a minute I play. One hand roughly every 3 seconds is 20 a minute. 60 minutes is 1200 hands. I have had sessions like this that literally wore me out (sore shoulders). But its a good pain! I'm really happy that you are still taking money away from Pechanga. Every time you do is just inspiration for Mom and I. Thanks again and stay cool out there!

Sorry John, two pair converts to a full house once out of every 23.5 hands, not once in 98 hands. There are 47 cards remaining in the deck and there are two cards that can make that full house.
At 7:10 in my video, I actually said, “A pair hits on average, 1 out of 98 times played” which is true. I think because I said this (after hitting a full house holding 2 pair) that it confused you. So we’re both actually right. You are correct with your statement, as I am correct, with my statement. I should have made both statements in the video, since my overall point was to stress the “value” of hitting a lot of full houses in a session to keep the bankroll alive. That amount of play on 175 is a freakin win in my book. 4 or sets of quads during that session was rad. I consider time/hands played as dues to be in position to covert all them shots at a royal or one of them other goodies on double/triple games. Ur absolutely right about all that 100%! The down side to VP for me is I can only play about an hour before I start to go cross eyed 😂. Anyway awesome to watch.

It’s hit or miss trying to film at Pechanga. On this session I was focused on playing to win, so I wasn’t filming at the time. Sometimes, they let me film, and then there are other times that they don’t. Go figure on the one time that I wasn’t filming the machine was rolling well for 4.5 hours straight going back and forth between the $2 & $5 coin denominations. Whew! I’m so glad, after that long battle, that the Royal decided to show-up on the $5 coin denomination for $20,000, instead of showing-up on the $2 coin denomination for only $8,000! And, Yes, I was frustrated not to be able to film it, because I could have yielded 15-20 videos off of that perfect session, along with its happy ending. Yes, I’ve taken big wins many times to: furnish my entire house, pay-off cars, put a pool resort and outdoor kitchen in my backyard, and the occasional jumbo payment on the mortgage to reduce the principal. U R absolutely right about royals being sneaky. My largest hand pay ever was 4k playing VP, and when it hit, I was still slapping the button for the next hand a couple seconds before realizing what had happened 😂. In my defense It was a quiet machine lol. On top of that hand pay royal win and because I was way up, I decided to pull 1k out and play high velotility cartoon game machines, and I pulled another 500 out of the casino 🎉. It was a cool ass trip
Nice session. I'm the same way as far as when I have had enough hands played and time spent on a VP machine, I always end up risk it for the biscuit at the end and pump it up do or die style 😅. I also like to drop 100 in rando VP machines and play 4 spins at 5 dollar denom as I'm strolling through vegas casinos lol. Ive hit some cool sht doing that. Love me some VP....it can start to get pretty monotonous though so I keep my sessions at an hour or less. Still to this day my biggest hand pay was 4k playing VP 🤘. Cheers from communist California 🎉
If you’re playing on the 50¢ coin denomination, a $200-$400 bankroll is a good starting point for sure. I hope you hit a lot of Quads with it! And perhaps even a Royal will rollout for you! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Listening to your discussion about high denom. I notice you play BP instead of DDB or higher, where the wins on a good hand will be much higher (altho you did switch to DDB). Is there a reason for that? Love your videos.
That’s a great question. I’ve largely stayed with 8/5 BP because it is an easy game to learn, it pays 10 coins on the frequently hitting 2 pair hand (which slowly replenishes a player’s bankroll during a session), and those because those factors have allowed me to score a lot of big royals when coining-up to the higher denominations. The other games are also good to play because of the bigger quad hits, and bonus quad hits with kickers, but a player generally needs more bankroll to “get to” those hits. But I do see the merit in playing all the other games with higher volatilities. Also, playing all the other games, requires strategy changes, which means more and more learning and training to avoid making errors when switching from one game to another. That’s not only a lot more work, but until a player reaches competency in all those other games, the introduction of more errors during that process is going to be more costly over the long run. However, I do know much better players than me who know and command all the other games effortlessly and they frequently reap the rewards of the bigger hits that you mention. Finally, I’ve decided that I need to broaden my approach by adding more of the other games into my repertoire. Little by little, I’ll begin that transition to some of the other games, but use them sparingly to better preserve the bankroll.☺️🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

Although comps are wonderful to have, it would be a big mistake to “play” for them. And there’s no such game called, Super Triple Double Bonus Poker, and if there were such a game, it most assuredly, wouldn’t be a 9/6 game. Having won close to $500,000 (in just Royal Flushes alone) on 8/5 BP, I’d take that game (played at high denominations) over any game out there. You should try that one day, it certainly wouldn’t be boring. And with your hyper-interest on comps, you’ll be getting more than a buffet!😉🌎
@johnsworldofvideopoker You are half wrong John. Super Triple Double Bonus pays 4,000 credits for Royal, 4 Aces, 2's, 3's and 4's with a kicker. Look at this paytable, it is actually 9 5.
Good to see you again John! Palms has been steadily cutting back their offers, now back down to the $20 level despite giving them the usual $8k or so coin in. Circa is bonus poker heaven and I get great offers just grinding away at single line, 50 cent to $5 8/5 bonus poker, $10-15k a trip and still get $250 in free play a month.
Yes, a lot of casino groups are cutting back on free play and comps nowadays. I hope it gets back to normal soon. I haven’t spent too much time at Circa, although, I have stayed there. The music is just way too loud for my taste, so I haven’t really enjoyed playing there. I don’t mind playing at their sister property, The D, nearby. There are copyright infringement rules in place. If an artist’s music is playing in the background in your video, they can have the video taken down or you have to “pay” the artist for the “use” of their music. Who would want to be forced to pay an artist for unintended background music that creeps into a video just because it happens to be playing in the background? If you get more than 3 copyright strikes on RU-vid, you can lose your entire channel. It’s actually a major concern of all RU-vidrs. This video was flagged for a Katy Perry song raging loudly in the background, so I had to find a way to suppress it. It’s a lot of extra work to do that, and it detracts from the video also.🥴🌎

When a machine is this hot it is really hard to let go and I have a feeling you aren't done with this yet. Hope you have been well. Mom is much, much better and is walking without assistance. She gets tired after a short while, but I have been able to get her to Pechanga to play. She usually is good for a couple of hours then its time to go home. Nice job John. I noticed you are misplaying the Kh 10h suited with a penalty suited card 4h. Saw it happen a few times. I'm always looking for those penalty cards. I actually picked this up from you a few years back! Very minor error in the grand scheme of things. The Kh should be the hold vs Kh 10h with another matched suited card 4h. I believe this is only on K 10. Q 10 w/ another suited card is OK. Good luck!
