Hey guys that’s not too bad…I cracked open a piece of elm that’s been down for 2 years and split since Sept…still at 33%, I’m burning it mixed with the 15% cherry 👍 Happy New Year

Not bad for the middle. 9% to go won't take long.

I was going to guess about 30%. I split up some big ash rounds the other day I know they’ve been down over 5 years and were still at 24% near the center.

no such thing as "dry" logs. if you go hunting in the woods you may find a few that are dry but you cant by a log truck worth of "dry" logs. even ash is hit and miss on that. now that soft maple will dry down fast thats for sure

Need to look into a better mic.
