Mountain Top Outdoors was created to show the process of firewood from start to finish. This operation produces firewood for commercial and residential accounts, bundle grade firewood, fire starters, and for recreational use. Our name is Jeff and Patty and we originate from upstate New York. Our operations includes an Eastonmade 22-28 splitter with a STK-24 conveyor, along with an Eastonmade Ultra for bundle wood, and 2 bundlers for bundle packaging. Our hobbies include cooking, camping, fishing, hunting, gardening, and pretty much anything outdoors.
Some trees just grow like that, could have been a few different things, weird wind patterns, or most likely, the tree grew amongst other trees competing for sunshine, so it grew towards an ever changing light source, due to the surrounding canopy.
@mountaintopoutdoors ive seen a bunch out here in oregon, usually wild cherry, or apple or plum wood. I have had some douglas fir like that as well. Not to often but in my experience its a dense wood lot, approx 50 to 80 years old or so, just from counting rings on the wood ya know
Great video. I like how you take the time to take us on a Woodyard tour. What state are you located in? Seems like you would have plenty of wind to help with the firewood drying process. Also love ❤ your dog. Seems to mind really well. As Joe @ OWB would say, Have a GREAT Day.👍🇺🇸 Dave D. from Maine.

Not bad for your 1st livestream. I would recommend that if you do them in the future you should do them in horizontal format, unless it’s a Shorts video RU-vid doesn’t like vertical format.
