Got one of these in a 15 gallon AIO with a single Percula Clown. The weird thing is the clown seems to have bonded with the goby - it follows the goby around in a completely non-aggressive way, no nipping or chasing or anything. It’s actually very cute
I love these little guys. I want one so bad, but I know I'm going to get super attached so I'm being very conservative about making sure tank is ready!!
I feel like Belennies and Clown Gobys have such good personality I think for my tank getting two once my all my corals grow very nice I'll add them in. These fish have have always been on my list! No wonder it's your wife's favorite fish!
+Hooked On Fish I agree I think there great. My wife wants me to get another yellow clown goby, but I'm kind of afraid of them paring off and stripping some SPS to breed.
what is the other goby? Kevin is super cute! I am wanting a small fish, can you think of one beside maybe clowns that have more personality? I heard the green ones were dull and hide!
Awesome tank! Best video I've found on these little guys! I just got one in my 15g nano and mine is TINY deff not adult sized. Really excited to see him tomorrow when the lights are on. Have you ever noticed if they eat flake?? That is if you ever use it??!!

How did you qt this little guy Scott? I've just gotten one and hes just had a paraguard bath so far with Prazipro to start tomorrow. I dont think i can cooper this guy though can I?
I bought this fish from a friend a long time ago and I didn't QT it. This isn't something I advice but I think you could QT one in Cupramine and it would be OK. You can all so just observe it for a month and see how it goes.
I just got one, he's so cute, but he keeps nipping on the tips of my frog spawn, it doesn't look like he's doing any damage , but its really stressing it out. /:
hey! i just got my clown goby in my 12 gallon nano cube and he will not eat at All! ive tried live brine, frozen brine, liquid garlic extract. nothing works. ive had him for about a week and i need to try something quick before he dies. any tips? i also tried separating him into a plastic container and feeding him. didnt work
it's really hard to know what to do. mine loves the LRS Reef Frenzy. Sometimes fish don't acclamate well to the aquarium environment. I would try as many foods as you can and not give up on him. Good luck.
its always good to let the fish get hungry rather trying to get it into feeding mood , mine likes mysis but will get into everything if he doesnt get fed for 2 days
