Today we're trying Yellow Dragon Fruit, or Pitaya. We generally find red dragon fruit in the USA, but if you see yellow pitaya at your local market, give it a try! It's sweet and delicious with lots of fruity fiber and nutrition for a healthy gut. The yellow dragon fruit, or pitaya, is sweeter than the red fruit, but each has the same beneficial nutrients.

I’m in florida now visiting family I will definitely be on the lookout for dragon fruit. It cost over 5 bucks each for it in Ohio so I never indulged. But if I find it cheaper in Florida I will definitely buy it. Thanks for another great video😍👍!

I do regularly see red dragon fruit at the grocery stores we frequent in Florida--and not too terribly priced compared to the $7 I paid for the very first dragon fruit I ever bought, which was probably more than a decade ago in Seattle

A coworker brought some dragon fruit and pomegranate fruit to work yesterday. But I was late getting to work and missed out on the goodies. 😅 Guess I'm gonna have to be a grown up and go buy some. It certainly looks delicious. You barely stop eating to speak. So that says it all. I can't wait to try it. You two keep eating well and having a great time.

pomegranate!!--that might be CG's favorite fruit, although I DON'T GET IT!...is pomegranate even a real food? ...I think it's called the "food of the gods" because it's not really fit for human consumption. I'll take a kiwi before a pomegranate, which might be the nicest thing I've ever said about kiwi fruit

You can find these relatively easily near Atlanta at any of the international markets and they are fairly reasonably.

I think they've gone down in price quite a bit over the years...they're not nearly as scarce as they used to be, although I don't see the yellow variety that often.

I’ve eaten yellow dragon fruit and it’s excellent. So much so I ordered a yellow dragon fruit cutting and planted it. Now I realize it’s going to be some time to get fruit, probably a couple of years. I suggest eat it or them within a couple of days due to they ripen and spoil in 3 or 4 days.

Hello, stumbled upon your channel after searching for information on yellow dragon fruit. My daughter saw these on tik tok and was really excited to try it. I live in Las Vegas, NV and shop at a grocery store called Smiths. They had both the yellow and red. $4.99/lb so pretty pricey. I had bought the red variety a few months ago but honestly, I didn’t think much of the flavor and it didn’t give me any desire to try it again. My daughter was begging to try the yellow, so I decided to give it a try as I assumed they would have different flavors! Thanks for this video, you made it look great! Have a wonderful day

That looked very yummy, Seňor Buck. Thanks for explaining the procedure. I've seen both the red and yellow varieties at the local stores here in Texas, but never took the leap. Maybe I'll give it a try. One question: since there's just me here, and I'm reluctant to load up the old microbiome with too much fiber at one go, can I eat half and refrigerate the other (in a baggie) for the next day? I mean, would it deteriorate somehow in the cold? Glad you guys are enjoying your Equatorial Adventure.

I'm in Tulsa, Oklahoma and my kids convinced me to buy one of these at the local grocery store...I paid $4 for one! It was delicious and sweet so it was worth the experience but not something we will splurge on very frequently!

try the yellow variety if you can...I've had some good red dragon fruit here in Ecuador, but the yellow version is a real treat ( I guess that means the yellow version has more sugar than I should be eating)

I don't know about EXTREME, but it does help, I think, if you're looking for a laxative effect. I went to a doctor when I first got to Cuenca, Ecuador, which is a city around 8500 ft in elevation. I was getting over a cold and my breathing was shallower than I liked, so I wanted to get my lungs checked out. The doctor said I was great. She said my lungs were clear and the breathing was just what to expect at this elevation. She also said constipation could be an issue at this elevation, and she said we should regularly eat dragon fruit, which we've been doing, and doing well...if you know what I mean

This is an older video but I’m still gonna comment lol😂 I’ve wanted to try one of these I wish someone trustworthy lol😂would send me one I live in Ky and we can only get the pink dragon fruit with the white inside, I’ve always wanted to try the yellow and the pink ones that have the pink insides as well
