Yellow Squash Fritters (Croquettes) Perfect Summer Side 

watching this channel has caused me to become more mindful when doing household chores the gentle, graceful movements of the chef here is also so calming

First time I've heard of squash fritters - they look great!

Will be trying these tomorrow..

Made these before with a small difference. After shredding the squash, placed it over a cheese cloth. Folded the cloth and twisted, this removed most moisture. Same dry ingredients, but also added 1/4 cup of corn starch, helps dry out the patties. As to veggies, finely diced scallions, parsley, and carrots. Also used minced garlic. The mix comes out dryer and the patties are crispy. Also made a dipping sauce. Mayo/sour cream, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper.

I love fried yellow squash! 😍 And I usually just slice it and dust it with flour. But this is a great new way to make it! 😚 I've done something similar with zucchini but don't know why I never tried it with yellow squash. I just know this will be good because I love yellow squash! 😋 Something else I like to do is fry yellow squash and okra together. The combination is great and they compliment each other! And for people who have a dislike for okra because it's slimy, this isn't. But yellow squash and okra makes the summer complete! 😘 I'm definitely going to try these fritters! I could almost smell them as you were cooking. ☺️ They're going to be so good!! 🤩 Thanks for sharing another great video! 🥰

Looking for recipes, I seen another video where they only cut one end of the squash so they could hold it when they were completing the shredding. Keeps your fingers safe, and toss the uncut end.😊
