Welcome to another perfect restoration video in RESTORATION DIVISION. I have a friend and he gave me this yellowed keyboard for free. The first time that I saw it, it was so beautiful but as you can see, there are some issues. First of all, dirt was everywhere and some keys were stiff and the functionality of the keyboard was bad. Also, the smell of this keyboard was terrible. The original color of this device was covered by a yellow layer and I had to remove it. To remove the yellowing of vintage plastics, you will need UV lights and H2O2. This process is known as "Retrobright". For the UV light, you need to know that 395nm UV lights will be enough for this job. 3% of Hydrogen peroxide can do the job but I recommend a 12% solution to accelerate the process.
