We take our 2005 Contender 23/25 Tournament to the midshore tuna grounds looking for our first Yellowfin Tuna on the new rig. We have only tried a few times, but they had alluded us so far.
The bite gets going around 1 pm and we go 3 for 4 on nice size yellowfin tuna using light rods and reels, 25-30 pound leader, and live/dead bait.
We left em biting and called in a friend, as we had to get back and prep for a swordfishing trip the next day (unfortunately that didn't go so well).
