It’s been a long time so get yourself reacquainted with the Yellowjackets before season 2 gets here. I’m looking forward to covering this new season week by week. Hope you’ll join me. There are so many unanswered questions. What’s your favorite?
I can't wait for season 2 to begin! YJ was my biggest surprise and ultimately my favorite show of 2021. The thing I hope though is that the writers/showrunners won't stretch the series too long. I could definitely see 3 or max 4 because as much as I loved Lost, for example, I don't want them to get to a point where it becomes way too convoluted. I hope they already have their roadmap and know the ending.
Pete im so happy you will cover this show weekly it deserves the attention atleast season 1 did im so hyped and i hope they can pull of something special with this story and characters.
I haven't watched a single second of this series. I did just watch your entire recap of season 1. The reason? I am a HUGE fan of the entire Breaking Bad universe, and LOVED watching your podcasts of BCS. I loved your insight, and thorough understanding of what was going on. I looked forward to the episodes of BCS just as much as anticipating your recaps and podcasts. It's amazing how much you pick up and retain about what's happening. This recap alone will be enough for me to now watch this first season. Keep up the great work. Also looking forward to the next installment of Growth, decay, and transformation....
My daughter and I re-watched the first season and so glad we did; had we not we forgot a lot but also discovered a few extra things we missed on the first run. I recommend everyone watch season 1 again now before you go any further in season 2!
This story is based on real events; on the Uruguayan national rugby team plane crash in the argentinean-chilean border in the Andes mountains in 1972. The survivors ate their (dead) teammates until they were rescued 72 days after the accident. There's a movie called Alive (1993) about this event.
Jackie's "Death Dream" is like the Church scene in LOST....they were all in that Cabin due to they all died at different times in life...but the Crash was the most important thing/time in their lives and this is why they all had their youthful look...basically....the same thing that was explained to Jack Shepard via Christian Shepard at the Church.(Example: Sawyer might of died as an old man, but appeared as 38yr.old Sawyer in the Church...or, Yellowjackets Travis died as a man in his early 40's but appears as a teenager in the Cabin in Jackie's "Death Dream".)
Hi, Pete! I always liked your commentary especially with BCS! Would you consider doing reviews about the Last of Us? In case you haven’t watched it, I think you’ll love it!
Great video as always. One doubt I was left with was when Shauna suspected that Adam was the bad guy. When she opened the safe, it seemed that the diaries had disappeared. And after she killed him and returned home the diaries were there. Was it the supernatural that made the diaries disappear and come back?
"From" season 1 was very good. Season 2 will be released on April 23. That series hasn't been reviewed by any decent reviewer so far. Would be nice to see at least a similar vid about the Epix show. ps: I'm sure the producer learned the "Lost" lesson.
Someone said, “What if we had a show that’s was a mashup of Lost and Lord of the Flies. Then gave it an all girl cast to appease the woke morons at Paramount?”
