Wait till you get Beth's backstory. Your opinion of her will change dramatically. Monica never changes. I hate her character. I found myself so annoyed by her that I started skipping past her scenes.

On the contrary, Beth herself has become evil because of the hate she holds onto. It corrupts whatever comes within its grasp, especially the innocent.

That’s what made the sopranos so good they had so many a b c and d story lines and many of the story lines just like in life you never get an end or even a satisfying one at that.
