Jimmy really traded up and made the right decision by sticking with Emily instead of going back to Mia. Mia was only interested when it looked like Jimmy might become a famous rodeo star while Emily was just interested in Jimmy for Jimmy. For awhile, it looked like John Dutton was trying to punish Jimmy by sending him to the 6's ranch but the purpose was to send him to a place where he had no friends, no family, no one to bail him out, let him sink or swim on his own and he learned to do the right thing without taking crazy chances that will get him injured in a place where no one will bail him out.
Plus emily is a doctor (vet but still really smart) and can help Jimmy have a financially comfortable retirement when he's inevitably too old to cowboy.
I was born and grew up at 7000ft in AZ. We got a lot snow and it got cold, but the sun always showed up. I thought I knew winter. Now I live in Montana. Montana winters are punishment.
Didn't think I could watch this for the longest time because I assumed Paramount + kept it behind their streaming platform. However, I found out this week that you can buy the seasons on RU-vid. This has quickly become my preferred platform for renting and buying movies.
0:14 I wonder why they bend the pipes over on the top of the vertical columns of the gate/fence. Bend it over and welded it. I reckon maybe so jumping animals don't get impaled.... weird though.
The guy getting shot thru the front door is the same bad guy (horrendously evil) who shot the FBI agent through the front door in Wind River both wearing body armor. This has to be purposeful. I am not sure how this guy cannot be type cast by what he did in that movie. It will stain his character in this show for those who know.
Is getting off the wall an actual tactic? You see swat teams stack up against walls. I know in the military while in places like the middle east, you would stay off the wall because if RPGs were fired at you they would need to hit the wall to explode and you wouldn't want to be against that wall. But idk about this situation or one similar when they are outside that house/trailer.
Big difference in a brick, concrete, or steel wall versus a trailer wall. You could kick your way thru one of those, much less bullets. And it makes sense to keep your chest to the wall where there is the heaviest Kevlar and plates versus the velcro sides.
@@judsonkr I think he got Tim McGraw and Garth Brooks confused. Heck one of my sons was talking about Gerard Butler but thought he was the guy in Gladiator (Russell Crowe). These things happen.
Fun part is, these Yellowstone types stole by force all that land Kevin Costner (his character) professes be his by divine right. Remember dances with wolves? A very different Kevin Costner.
@@raymondsims7042I’m guessing he means it has gotten so popular that the execs running the show want more show which everyone knows will just dilute the show and make it worse, which is what the commenter thinks has happened
The best show on television - everything is fantastic. The scenery, the story, the actors. You can’t take your eyes off the screen from the first moment of season 1. So excited for season 5
Your taste is 🗑️. The acting snd the scenery? It’s just a bunch of pseudo-tough guys staring off with their limited three different expressions that they can do with their faces driving around in trucks talking about cows. Go read anything.
@@spikesgirl9371 must weigh the probability of a fiendish plan that backfires and needs to be bailed out by the 5 cent on the dollar that gets to pay the interest on our own currency
Season 4's premeire, was one of the greatest TV premeires my wife and I have ever watched. Our jaws were on the floor by the time that beautiful intro music kicked in.
Paramount is no joke when it comes to Yellowstone and 1883. You can't find any videos on youtube besides the ones officially posted on their channels. They are striking down anyone who tries posting anything outside of it lol. I like being able to come on youtube to rewatch scenes of my favorite tv shows but with this show its impossible to do.
It's a very well made show with great actors but the admiration people have for characters who are essentially serial murderers because they spout some kind of rural cowboy nonsense is baffling.
I agree. Most characters in most highly rated shows & movies these days are serial murderers. It's an odd thing about US tv/movie entertainment! However, these actors do a great job despite the oftten unbelievable script. Kevin Costner is great in this.
