I met Billy Sherwood in 1997 or so, same night I met late great Alan White & Chris Squire (who talked with me for 20 minutes!) but my greatest thrill was shaking hands with Jon Anderson

Yes Brit I really enjoyed too. It was a once in a life time show seeing Steve Howe and Geoff Downes they are the legends. I was so lucky to be in this concert. I hope you liked the recorded show here in youtube I posted.
@Jeremy Spade this may not be the Yes of old, but come on let some of us enjoy what they still provide. The Quest was a decent enough record to me, they are a legendary band. I've noticed you have posted on many videos and you have right to air your views, they still mean something to me. I was fortunate enough to see and Alan and Chris from the front row myself once.
@@scitsalcoryp Downes can barely cover Wakey's parts. Listen to Howe play the intro section to 'SK' He can barely get through that? When does this mess end?
Bill Bruford is retired, Rick Wakeman wins more money like solo and Jon Anderson will have 79 years old this year and cannot do long tours and he don't wants to be involved agaion in Yes....
I cannot say I blame any of the only other surviving members, Burford, Wakeman, Anderson...the band ran its course a very long time ago...with White and Squire gone [¡.e. dead], Howe is just wasting precious time...with this cover up...time to give it a rest put the legend to bed, perhaps open up the archives give us videos of 70s classic yes shows...dust off a full concert or two a year...
@@biffjohnson7891 I started seeing Yes in 1975; the second Relayer tour. But my favorite show was the 2016 shows I saw on the Topographic Oceans/Drama tour with the current lineup. My second favorite show was the 1976 outdoor festival with Yes as headliners focusing on material from Relayer, Tales, and Close to the Edge.
The whole band is in physical pain….this is a tribute band NOT YES!!!no matter what Steve does …it will not be the same YES …or even the future YES…put out new music besides THE QUEST…I did not like the album..just only 1 song…that’s a shame..to put a prof rock band in dispear… the band is hurting bad…Time for “this” SO CALLED YES BAND TO GIVE IT UP
@@zenonyaremko8316 Love all of Billy's work. Solo...Circa:....good stuff. Shellen has worked with Billy alot and with John Paynes ASIA. Downes should stick to ASIA....fits well. Steve is Steve...always. Davison...NO. Saw the Band with Beniot and Oliver, did much of Drama, which was nice. 1st YES show I've ever heard Machine Messiah... awesome. Benoit sounded more like Trevor Horn than JA. Davison just ruins all of it. CTTE...awlful...including Keys. Check out Jon Anderson with the Band Geeks in spring 23. That will sound like YES.
I was highly impressed with both YES and the cameramans work. The rotating stage is a cameramans dream to work with. I shot video here in Houston and taught video for 14-15 years. I so much wanted to see a video of this concert. What camera were you using? We sat next to a man named Arman during the show. I just found out the connection.
Thank you Kenneth! I highly appreciate your complements. I am really glad that you liked the Video making. Actually I used The i phone 13 pro max then convert to 1080p 60fps and enhanced the audio with a software. Again thank you so much for your feedback. Enjoy!
Okay, first work on the(mainly sluggish) tempos...And work on finding a keyboard player who can actually "play" these songs, not barely muddle through them...Thats just for starters..
This cover band only covers up yes’s miraculous iconic musical masterpieces. No Jon. No yes No Chris. No Alan no yes This is a travesty a music heist This band is like the movie old Yeller. Put it down. Take this sick music out of our misery. What a sad sad thing
Steve playing all the older stuff does not make it YES….a tribute band can do the same thing….this band is The Steve Howe Tribute Band…featuring the music of YES….these are professional musicians….they sound real bad….
Wakeman wasn't essential to Yes, he quitted the band 5 times so he don't love Yes! Yes is a guitar bdriven band so Steve Howe is essential here, he never quited the band, he was replaced in the 80's by Trevor Rabin but returned back in 1989.
Steve should have taken Jon Anderson’s offer and come out with new music …and maybe a concert to follow…but no Steve is grumpy and figures he can keep the band alive…the band is slowly dying…YES IS GOING TO BE NO MORE….But if Jon A was there …he could have revived the band…things happen for a reason …🙏🙏🙏
