Also, the unique dialogue is a reference to Dbz's original dub, where Freeza says "Having these balls makes me feel something that resembles joy, i think"
@@leo_501My favorite line of Frieza from the dub “Captain Ginyu. if you were a dog, I’d rub your belly. If you were a cat, I’d give you warm milk till you started to purr.“
For the longest time that was actually my favorite db game ever... It was the only one I had and the one I was "good" at, guess I'm just a Lucky guy, no one ever wanted to play with me, I 100 percented it and sold it years ago now
I'm glad you made this comment cuz Lord knows I was about to. At least he isn't talking about his balls though. "These balls make me feel something akin to joy, I think."
Why do i have a feeling vegeta's saying is a reference to the ocean dub when frieza says ''having these balls makes me feel something that resembles joy i think''. Uncanny similarity lmao
@Zontar82 gee, why online only? Maybe because they want to actually do this with other players because it seems fun? Nah that can't be the case because you called him a Zoomer, which is apparently an insult in your mind. Genuinely, what is wrong with you.
When i did it i remembered goku often times has an ability in fighting games called "rock, paper, scissors: rock" and figured he'd do rock, so i did paper
@@ponkotuu i meant that in fighting games you only see rock most of the time, not a single person saw any other rock paper scissors move in kakarot because you start with rock and get better moves after that
I love this thumbnail. Given their expressions, it looks like Goku's unwavering confidence that he won that first roll got Vegeta so unsure that Vegeta went again two more times.
@@AxtonTheObstagoon to be fair, in the original manga, he WASN'T holding back and had been trying to kill Buu multiple times. he just couldn't get enough power to finish him off.
@@omegashinobi Wasn't that it was not as much as being unable to gather power, but that SSJ3 was draining way too much and way too fast for him to do anything of value with the boost? I think that i remember that he even loses the transformation at one point because of this.
@@N7Allfather They also did trunks dirty by not doing any of the android/cell saga with him. No saiyan or frieza saga for Gohan. And no TOP for piccolo.
@@1216shadow what frieza saga you want for gohan? with him running around searching for the dragon balls? or the sayian saga where he just cries all the times and then does a headbutt?
It would've been a bit funny if the tie just led to a second game which could also get tied. Just have a loop of Vegeta and Goku getting more and more exasperated that they keep throwing the same thing.
I could've sworn the canonical choice was Vegeta choosing paper against Goku's rock... Well even so, it is Vegeta's route so he at least deserves a W against his rival even for something like RPS.
They could've made a what-if scenario to have them fight buu together but I guess that's too small of an event to play out. Probably would bring the same outcome.
@@anxander Yeah I would've liked a what if Gogeta fought Kid Buu but they might not get the time to perfect the technique unless Buu falls asleep for long enough or things somehow play out like the fusion reborn movie. Doesn't really matter since we already got a Gogeta buu saga story in sdbh.
Honesty this coulda been an epic ending especially for Vegeta someone who sold his soul to Majinn then finally like reuniting with the memories of his loved ones type shit giving him a new reason to fight buuuut Vegeta probably sells anyway If anything Sparking Zero story is a love letter to Vegeta especially in the cell arc
Not like that's super consistent across SZ. I haven't finished Goku's story but across all the other Episode Battles there are a few choices you can make that don't really alter any outcome at all. Even if you win the RPS game here as well, Goku still ends up defeating Kid Buu (unless you fulfill an optional which is not tied to this first fight IIRC)
