This tells me a lot of deception in it. When he said Dentist taking home a million dollars afford expenses and all I was very curious how they or the patient derived "income" there. Now it makes sense this tells me allegedly even if the patient don't necessarily needs the treatment in the near future they find ways to make it seems urgent and necessary this is why I'm very cautious of people who give care. Greed is at the finest these days!! Most people don't even now some of these companies work directly with these financial institutions I noticed this a lot
Great podcast Doc. Am a Pakistani dentist with a dream to practice dentistry in the states. You guys are an inspiration for someone like me who is passionate in this field.
There's a recurring theme we see with dentists. A dentist gets injured, can no longer do "dentistry" and is forced to focus on running the business and making sure it can work without them. That dentist then goes on to become incredibly successful. It isn't anything unique at all, it's just basic principles of E-Myth or really just basic business 101. What's really sad is that it often takes a dentist getting seriously injured before they go down the path of learning how to actually run a business properly. They'll take endless CE courses to improve their dental skills but put so little value in understanding business fundamentals.
