The singer is Douglas Meakin, originally from Liverpool, he moved to Italy in the ‘60 and had great success with a group called “The Motowns”. He then did an incredible career and worked with prominent Italian artists.he did several movies with Morricone. ( Meakin cooperated in at least 80 movies, wrote and sang many songs). A versatile Artist much loved from his colleagues and from the people. He is 79 years old and still rocks as he still holds concerts with the Superobots group, mainly in Rome, as he also did iconic anime’s songs in Italian. A living legend.
