A one take video of a recent request. This song is so gorgeous, written by Charles Aznavour. The lyrics are so perfect, it's a joy to sing and I'm so grateful that the request came through for it!
I m 68 yrs. Everyone has a different story. Born in Wakefield Yorkshire England I was an only one and blessed to have loving parents and grandparents. No job unable to establish myself with a family of my own. I was never in the rat race and now Ive become a cat person providing a forever home for lost little souls who end up in cat rescue centres. They bring so much happiness into your life they really do love their human. Its a transient life; we are born then die and sometimes its hard to know what we are supposed to do in between. Thankfully caring for my fur baby gives me a purpose in life. Thanks be to God. Amen.
At 66 years old, I travelled the world, have a very comfortable life, no money worries..... but this song tells so much about my life... some many regrets and missed opportunities.. love it ❤
The same here…I could not possibly ask for more…there’s just something here that’s so meaningful. I’m also thinking of “When I was 17” originally sung by The Kingston Trio…but…ONLY Sinatra gave it meaning to me…so descriptively true…especially now @66. My very first stereo…an 8th grade graduation present from just my dad…also contained 3, 8-track tapes…Tapestry, Wings & Sinatra in Concert. With my Bose headphones on…I fell asleep nightly to Sinatra, always waiting until that song played. I lost Dad December 8th just 2-weeks ago. We had a very special relationship since childhood and worked together daily for 16 years. There was nothing ever left unsaid between us…something I have instilled in my daughter and 2 sons. I often remind them to listen to this song, especially now as I look into that barrel of fine wine.
I remember hearing this song some years ago but now, being 67, I am sure people of my age group will hear your version and reflect on their younger days. Thank you Tara.
At 75 years Young, I have a ways to go before getting Old. Yea, RIGHT. Anyway, that was a most beautiful rendition of this timeless classic. The triple screen with you playing both violins as well as the guitar as well as singing was also no small feat to organize either. Thank You for sharing your wonderful talents. Greetings from Ontario, Canada.
My goal is to find all of your songs and read all comments. This was a marathon on this one. So many commentd and so much love shown to you Tara. But I made it. Even left a few replies. I think Roy is looking down and smiling! The power of a beautiful voice and a simple beautiful arrangement! Best version I've ever heard.... Thank You Tara!
Beautiful just beautiful. It takes me back to the days in 1969 when I was a young Marine training in California to go into a situation that would forever change my life. There are many songs that will forever remind me of those days but this is one of my favorites.
Tara, so many excellent artists have covered this beautiful, timeless song of Charles Aznavour "Hier Encore" (Yesterday Again), but you nailed it! I can feel your total passion and commitment to the song and it is beautiful. Thank you!
Yes Tara! That is a very good song! You have sung it so well. Your heart was really into it. What a blessing to hear you singing this song. My our LORD continue to bless you and your family and music. Keep up the good work in your life.
Wow! You stood me on my head Tara. I loved that song the first time I heard it when Roy Clark put it out all those years ago. There are no lyrics more beautiful than the french language translated to English and your voice nails every note. I'm a new fan...
Such a pleasure listening to you sing such a beautiful song. A beautiful arrangement. One of my favorite songs since I was a kid and still today at 65 brings tears to my eyes when I hear it. 🎉🎉🎉
😅😅😅 3:43 Those expressions on your face tell it all. You felt this song deep inside. I think you drew us all in and our emotions truly became one with yours. That would make us close friends.😊😊😊
Roy Clark was amazing, he was the guitarist for Wanda Jackson for a time and she always had wonderful things to say about him. I love him singing Sally Was a Good Old Girl, so much fun!
You go girl.... I,m an old man now.... but watching and feeling you sing this song ( with conviction and experience ) makes me wish... painfully... that I had bumped into you a long time ago........ Yesterday..... when I was young.
Beautiful rendition, esp the violin backing and the chuckle at the end. I feel this song too, at 76. Loved the Roy Clark version... even when I WAS young. This tune is up there with "September Song," the version by Willie Nelson. No regrets. I've lived a great life... and still do!
I had almost forgotten about this beautiful song. This takes me back to sitting in my dad's truck listening to Roy Clark's beautiful rendition. Thank you, your version is very beautiful
Meine Jugend fand ich nicht so toll! Aber danach! Und meine Beziehungen, meine Arbeit als selbstständiger. Super! Jetzt schreibe ich und habe wieder geheiratet! Das Leben ist wunderschön. ❤❤❤❤

Love what you said. I'm from a family of 7 kids. I'm the only red head in my immediate family. Grandfather and aunt were redheads. Lots of cousins are. Keep your comments coming, please!❤❤❤
Wow! What an awesome cover of a beautiful song! Your voice is beautiful and clear as a bell, and on top of that, the guitar and dual string accompaniment! Just a gorgeous rendering of this song. Thank you!
