Thanks for the video. I think I'll be getting the blanket. On a side note, I really like the idea of using your channel as a photo album. That's such a great idea.
Does it roll down smaller than the carrying sack? The carrying case is huge, and would take up alot of space, looking for something to throw down on the floor of my tent, but it looks too big for camping
It really doesn't....when rolled down it is pretty much the size of the carry case. I'm sorry, I store it in my car or I would go measure it, but the size is not too too bad at all. I just have a smaller Hyundai SUV and it stores perfectly while in the bag either in the rear hatch cargo space, with lots of other stuff including usually a Yeti 35 cooler during summer months (pause this video at 1:22 for a look at what I'm talking about), or at times I'll just have it behind a front seat, or even in the middle of the back seat between my two children.
@@rkline65 thanks for the reply and the info! The size would be fine for a car, but I am taking a monthlong motorcycle trip out west, so I need something that rolls down small. Still thinking about getting one, it just wouldn't make the motorcycle trip. The blanket looks perfect for what you use it for.
Thanks for the kind words! And in my option, no. As I stated in this video, I call the rugged side the “tarp” side. It is not tarp material, but it is very rugged. The blanket could def be used to rap around if you are out and about, sitting by a fire, in the stands at an event...etc. But as far as laying it on the couch inside and wrapping up to watch a movie, no it really designed for that.
I have the same blanket. I also share your thoughts on yeti gear. I like all the stuff I have. It works as advertised but it is very expensive. I am sure there is cheaper stuff out there but that being said. If you look for the sales or the coupons it takes some of the sting out of it.
