$300 micro four thirds 4k camera with some hidden time lapse abilities that set it apart. Suffering from low bit rates, the Yi M1 camera has gotten a bit of negative attention on youtube. Although the 4K video seems to have had a slight improvement in bit rates since the last firmware update, it still needs at least double the current 75mb/s bit rate to really shine in the 4k world. Also capable of some nice 20mp photo's but with no EVF it is a bit of a crap shoot. However the camera's time lapse abilities are surprisingly well thought out, though there is seemingly no documentation to help make sense of it, and a hit or miss ability to power externally during time lapses of 2 hours or more, which is a necessity. Still, probably the best time lapse option out there for this price..
