For this practice all you will need is your yoga mat and a clear wall space.
I love incorporating "legs up the wall" into a yoga practice. The reverse blood flow in your body combined with stretching and deep breathing, has a way of efficiently decompressing the nervous system. As we relax, we are able to go deeper into stretches, hold them for a longer period of time. and receive more benefits. It is extremely important to allow your body to spend time in the parasympathetic nervous system, this is where the body and mind are fully able to heal.
