interesting strat, isolating a small part of the map with coodination is always fun and can demoralize the other team, much like an east side border take. My riff on this would be that nomad could be replaced by a set a claymores, and then bring capitao to help with the pre-plant (more precise smokes, less responsibility for ying who has the most important and dangerous job) and he would be a post plant moster with the fire bolts.
Another great intro. And finally more love for Ying. (Who's secretly top tier Attacker.) I just hope she get's an Elite skin soon. Also I always run Smoke grenades with her Candela's because they synergies so well with one another. You won't need the Canopeners if you Smoke and Flash in as you push. I call your Freezer Double White Double for White Stairs but both callouts are fine. Also do you think Ying should be immune to regular flash bangs. Or is that too strong?
personally i think ying on the skylight is better, especially with the addition of nades to gridlock. ying can position two flashes into cocktail pretty well from the roof for the amaru to plant. i also think the addition of capitao over lion is better and should be on rappel with a smoke instantly at the feet of the amaru when the window breaks. this also allows him to position himself with fire for postplant. now that gridlock has nades, between that and fire should be able to stall the entire defuse timer. this puts your nomad going up white after setting airjabs. cap, griddy, and amaru on the landing outside and then ying on the roof. gridlock should be able to angle her trax deep into cocktail door from the window as well as stacks on white. ironically ive been doing this strat for awhile this way but before gridlock had nades it was usually just dokk or lion like you said.
A little late but just gave it a watch, great video! I call the freezer double planks because of the wooden planks, not the door specifically but the whole area outside cocktail.
We do a strat just like this. Use Sens instead of ying and claymores instead of Nomad. Definetly going to do Nomad now though. we have our Ash drop one of the other hatches and gets pretty easy picks. No joke did this on stream one round then next round baited it and just dropped new hatch Lion scanned and planted default by bar. Got 2 easy plants down from this. It is a fun one to try and pull off.
Have someone put Obs-blockers on the balconeys, and have Lesion trap the windows and skylights. Putting his traps ON the window sils is especially nasty, since Attackers can't pull out the needs while rappelling. Place Mute Jammers on Heaven and Cockail windows to prevent Fuze/breach charges. Jager sets up his ADS on skylight and cocktail. So that's 3 Defenders, plus 2 of your choice so long as one has Obs-Blockers. Totally get this is intended as a fun strat, but even one of these operators or setups will throw it right off!
