Quick spin of my 50mm carbon clincher rear wheel from YishunBike. The hub is made by Chosen and is pretty noisy. It doesn't bother me when I'm out riding though.
I took the freehub off before fitting my cassette and oiled the pawls with fully synth motor oil. This quietened down the hub a little, but not much. There was a minimal amount of grease in there when I got the wheels.

Ahh that's really nice to hear! My ys carbon wheels just arrived and I have just glued the gatorskins on. Hopefully it holds up just as well as yours

They're doing great. Do a couple of hundred miles a month and they've not missed a beat, although I've not used them in the wet yet. I use them as my standard wheels.

If you detension the spring, it will reduce the rolling resistance and also quiet down the hub. The spring itself is usually a piece of wire in the shape of a U. So all you have to do is widen the spring.

Yeah, I thought about tinkering with the springs in the pawls, but I've decided to leave well alone. Although I have packed some decent quality grease in there now and it does run quieter and seems to run more freely.

Update: DO NOT pack the freehub with grease. I gums up the pawls and you end up with a two-way freehub. I had to take off the freehub and remove the grease to get it working again.

Nope and the wheels are still as true as when I got them with 1600miles done, including various sportives and a couple of century rides in the North Yorkshire Moors.

In what way? In general, or the position it's locked down? It's one of the ultra light titanium skewers which came with the wheels. They were crazy light at
