Ylva is by far the most beautiful and strong woman in Vinland Saga. What a woman she is

I know in the fandom we talk about how Thorfinn has similarities to Thors but we don't talk about how much Ylva does too. Her strength of being able to carry logs on her back like feathers, her hunting and gathering skills. Control and perception of her emotions, as well as those around her. Wisdom etc. She's a great leader just like her father and I wouldn't be surprised if she takes over when her mother passes. She shares a bed with her brother to comfort him and keep him warm, or to comfort herself to know he's safe. When she senses his anxiety due to their parents talking, she drags him back to bed. After their father dies she still handles all of the chores of the household due to their mothers frail health. But also to distract herself from grief and her heartache after losing her father. Honestly she deserves more praise as a character I'd have loved to see interaction with her, Askeladd and Thorkell
