Love it that he throughout the whole episode thought that the sound technician was the "boss of the show" and talked to him about everything, and treated Bård and Vegard as they where 10 or something... And then they started to behave like it too, love when they do the wheel barrow thing in the background.
HAHAHA - this was hilarious. You know, it just shows how great these boys are. A lot of other diva TV hosts would have made sure everyone knew they were in charge, not the sound guy. Bård and Vegard just rolled with it and enjoyed it. Love it. Props to Knut!
One of my favorite things in these videos is when Bård gives the "Okay. Now we're gettin' down to business" nod (9:53). I love that these bros enjoy meeting all these characters. Thank you for the excellent subs.
When you think about it, it is pretty trusting of Per to let strangers come into his garage and see all of his valuable cars (especially if they aren't his...) and advertise to the whole of Norway (and elsewhere now..thanks to RU-vid..) that they're there. I bet he just has that "old school" distrust of those much younger than he is. I think the boys behaved admirably :)
Vegard is knowledgeable, I'm not saying otherwise, but I think any Scandinavian kid could recognize spruce. In Sweden (and then I'm assuming it's pretty much the same in Norway) the spruce is the most common tree. In Sweden almost half of all trees are spruce. Almost all of the other half is pine, but the bark of pine looks different. I realize I must sound like some tree geek now, but it's kinda common knowledge here, and something we learn as kids. On our way to the cabin...
This was hilarious!!! It was great, actually, that Per bonded with Knut. Per just couldn't accept Bard and Vegard as anything more than trainees. I love it when Bard and Vegard gave each other rides in the wheelbarrel to pass the time. My favorite part is when Per asked Knut how he thinks the boys did today? This was fun.
