I would have used this: "What sort of boat does Dracula use? A blood vessel." Still not great I guess, but it comes closer to the original meaning than just replacing the whole joke.
You know you can't help but laugh at the very end when they're talking to the crowd immediately following the song and it sounds like the minions from Despicable Me :P

His name is Calle Hellevang Larsen. He's a Norwegian sketch comedian, and a "sidekick" to Ylvis on this talk show. You can find other stuff he's done on youtube. Most of it is not in english, but almost ALL of it has subtitles, and it's just as funny to read.
