They are excellent musicians, comedians and talk show hosts. Look up their backwards song as from an interview. Or their talking elevator, etc. Norwegian treasure.
Ylvis (Bård and Vegard Ylvisåker) is the Norwegian version of The lonely Island. Ylvis has been active since 2000, so they started 5/6 years before The lonely Island. «The Fox» went viral by coincidence. It was for their late night show in Norway. They are great singers and they came with a new song/music video in every episode of their show almost. They have so many great songs (in different genres) and at least for us Norwegians, their songs are so funny. Try «The cabin», «Stonehenge», «Massachusetts», «Pressure», «Trucker’s hitch», «Acapella» or their funny voice-controlled elevator sketch series «The intelevator» fex.
The Ylvis brothers are comedians who could have been singers at a high level. I recommend 2 songs for you to react to. The first is "Jan Egeland", if you ignore the lyrics then it is one of the best rock songs of this millennium. The other is "Old Friends" which sounds like a Simon and Garfunkel song. The lyrics are sad / ridiculous with a very black humor. They are Norwegians.
Hi! So happy to find someone reacting to Ylvis! That was great, and the song is really hilarious 😁 And I agree with Ryan - I enjoyed the song, yet it's not the one that I'm going to listen to again. Funny, I almost choked when the invented "language of love" came in, but once you've been hit, any next hearing isn't that strong and you get tired instead of entertained. As usually, Ylvis did the amazing job musically and conceptually - they are really genius musicians! However, I definitely prefer some of their other songs, that I would strongly recommend for reaction some day. Especially "The Cabin", "Mr. Toot", "Acapella" and "Intolerant" - worth seeing and hearing ♥ Have a great day! 😎
ylvis are a Norwegian brother duo from "Bergen" in Norway and they are comedians and most of their songs was meant for their talk show "tonight with ylvis( i kveld med ylvis)" which was a popular comdedy show in Norway
@@BD-li6vp I said "Bergen" because it is the name of the town they are from and i normally write names and titles in quotes. btw. does it really matter how you write it?
