These men are extremly talented. Their show "I kveld med YLVIS" is full of these kind of great videos and songs (including the Fox!!!)?. You should take a look at the Intelevator as well, so hilarious.
110% correct. I have a Norweigen mate who told me about these a while ago.. The Intelivator is stomach pain funny.. It's frustrating reading idiotic comments about the fox because people think that is the 1st thing they did.. and they don't get that the fox was a joke and was ment to be a flop. Shows you how bad music is today.. These guys are superb though.

The Fox is actually their worst work. Their intention was for it to be terrible (which it is) and use it as a joke. I love these guys though. Massachusetts is probably my favorite right now.
good point, and you're right. how do we know, if you didn't live through that time period. Our idea of authenticity shouldn't be just changing props and phrases. but it does the trick for mainstream audiences. I think this joke can be applied to any period piece: we can completely ignore what people were like, just get the props and phrases right.

damjana777 i didnt say todays music isnt good, i just said the music back then was better. There are some good bands now like Coldplay and Muse but there were so many more in the 60s.

I have mustard yellow curtains at home. A friend came for a visit and said they were like from the 60s, and I kept laughing because this video was all I could think of :D
