and no, it is not the most insane stuff he has come up with. but she did a good job of covering it.just saying.all you have to do is of watched him in the 80's during his rising force marching out tour..he was amazing.
*_"Yngwie actually said that Arpeggios From Hell is one of the most insane stuff he came up with and she played it without giving a single shit."_* What's the most insane stuff she come up with? *_"and no, it is not the most insane stuff he has come up withand no, it"_* I think Yngwie himself would know better than you.
I always get the feeling that it's like " OK I'll show you guys once more but I need to go do my homework ! " Plays amazing with almost effortless like she can't believe everyone can't do it expression. BEYOND AMAZING !
+darnsmall Aha! I know right?? I've seen toll booth workers more excited by life than her! Like shit, is there a level of cool that just causes a person's emotions to stop working when that level is reached?
Bidhan A Replica's are people too....but seriously she's fucking amazingly gifted/talented and seemingly so damn young. She's got forever to work on any marketing techniques/passion. She does make it look easy and as though 0 fucks given...but there is no doubt she's worked very hard and could be a truly amazing musician in the future if that's what she chooses....hopefully for the greater good of music, she does. ;)
+Bidhan A Don't ever go by a persons facial expressions and body movements, there are soooo many incredible musicians full of musical expression that don't convey these expressions. I play in the zone when I play music and am almost detached from my physical body. Now I will give you that she is a bit mechanical on this, but she is 14-15 years old! We all know that life experience and listening experience of the vastness of the worlds great musical library ( of all genres btw) are a major ingredient for musical moods to have depth. I played guitar from age 12, went to GIT in 84', and got in solely because I excelled at a range of musical expressiveness over several genres of music. However, my technique was very weak compared to most students there. And on the other hand there were a great many 'robot' sounding guitar players there, including a few teachers, that had amazing facility for technique, but played with no feeling. I sat and played blues with a lot of these guys so they could work on feel. It was almost alarming how many guys, and gals locked themselves in the woodshed practicing, but forgot to take the time to just sit and listen to a wide range of music. These days we have EVERYTHING on RU-vid and elsewhere on the web to listen to. The best advice I can give anyone is to ask yourself, Am I a player more than a listener? If so then you've yet to find that passionate thread that goes from your ears to your heart to your fingers. The best, and most feeling players rave on and on about what they are listening to more than what they are playing. And then there are the 'painters', maybe I am one of them, but these guys are just born to express the artistic side of the craft and much of the technique is absorbed through some kind of osmosis combined with spending hours just noodling and getting something, seeing a picture or color and wanting to translate that into music. Hendrix was this kind of player. Ultimately if you are dedicated you will sooner or later gain more mastery of every component of playing. I actually found my true musical calling after twenty years of guitar playing in bands and recording, when I discovered the organ. Already a 'tone head' I was bowled over at the amazing tone that came from an old Lowrey Berkshire organ from the 60's that I saved from a landfill. I found a Hammond A100 and a Leslie 122 not long after and played the Hammond about 5 hours a day for about 6 years. Went back to guitar more for a few years and then RU-vid HIT! I found some videos of the great JESSE CRAWFORD, theater organist master and pretty much the inventor of every theater organ technique. Jesse was poor at reading music, but had a great ear and a great memory for music. He was given one of the first Hammond tone wheel organs in 1935-36. The Hammond was the first electric organ. Jesse hated it! Then he was prompted by Hammond with a big contract to promote their organs. He studied under the same teacher who taught Gershwin, and soon Jesse was excellent at theory and site reading. He went on to teach full time for Hammond and wrote many instruction manuals. So being a guy who could make wondrous music even out of a kazoo, Jesse spent some time playing the Hammond at first and recognized it's awesome tone. The Leslie speaker came out in 41' and this allowed Jesse to play the Hammond more similar to his theater organ styles. It was the theater organ that DOn Leslie was trying to emulate with his Leslie rotary speaker. Listen to JESSE CRAWFORD REMEMBERING album I posted. Nobody could play a Hammond with this kind of expression. It was this record that inspired me to start playing organ again, but this time I decided to get a few brands of organs since they are dirt cheap these days. Hammond, Wurlitzer, Conn, and Gulbransen I discovered were the best brands of organs for craftsmanship and amazing tone. I play my WURLITZER 4410 ELECTROSTATIC REED ORGAN on my channels opening video. We must preserve these WURLITZER electrostatic reed organs, Hammond tone wheel organs, and CONN VACUUM TUBE OSCILLATOR organs, all of the 30's through the early 60's. PLEASE ALL YOU GUITAR PLAYERS OUT THERE, NEVER DESTROY AN ORGAN FOR IT'S TUBE AMP AND SPEAKERS! These organs are every bit as serious a musical instrument as the finest guitar and amp, violin, or any other great well built instrument. Have some respect will you? CHECK OUT THIS WEBSITE FOR NEAT ARTICLES ON HOW THE HAMMOND TONE WHEEL ORGAN WORKS, AND THE WURLITZER ELECTROSTATIC REED ORGANS WORKS> www.nshos.com/
Malmsteen broke his guitar after seeing this😬. She is not even looking at the guitar while she is shredding very difficult runs. That is the ultimate in contempt! Wow. What a genius!
Agreed! I noticed the times she does look at the guitar it's as if she's only doing it to mock needing to. I'm sure she has it memorized and has no need at all to look. Freaking amazing!!!
@@Melchiah1985 The arpeggios themselves, agreed, are not difficult. But the speed she plays them in and the technique required FOR the speed is wayyyyyyy above 90% of what guitarists can actually play. Not to mentioned the EASE she does them in, my god 😭
Some of the best guitarists in the world, who have been playing decades longer than she has, would readily admit that they cannot perform some of the same feats on the fretboard that she can. She is a once in a lifetime virtuoso on the guitar. The combination of her talent, feel, speed, accuracy, dexterity and complexity is truly a gift from God. I know we’re not supposed to say this, but she's performing these covers better than some of the guitar legends who wrote them.
It’s not a gift, it’s practice dedication and a love for music. She didn’t pick up a guitar from day one and was able to do this. She most likely started with a different instrument I’d assume another string based instrument and moved to the guitar. This is what dedication and practice looks and sounds like.
@@imoffendedthatyouareoffended my point is that in order for her to perform at the level that she is, she has to be gifted with a certain baseline of talent which is actuated by time, practice, and dedication. Not everyone is able to achieve the same level of excellence regardless of how much they practice. She is able to play at a higher level, despite her age and deficit of practice, than many accomplished guitarists who've been practicing decades longer than she has. Practice can only take someone as far as their talent enables them, and vice versa. The combination of the two is what separates accomplished musicians from prodigies.
@@broteinshakesanders7773 false talent isn’t really a thing unless your talking about mentally writing music. Almost anyone with enough practice can learn to play something that somebody else wrote.
@@bradenstackhouse1335 songwriting and guitar playing are two separate, although often overlapping things. There are people who are gifted in one, or the other, or both. When we're discussing guitar playing exclusively, there are extremely talented players who perform certain complex songs better than the guitarists who actually wrote those songs and practiced them for a substantially longer period of time. Conversely, I know some extremely gifted songwriters who are average or even subpar players compared to certain studio guitarists who only play other people's songs, despite playing and practicing much longer.
Don't compare different time music learning with nowadays...20years ago their use ears to listening and learning guitar not watch the videos or youtube
@@ikanganas You know people still do that, right? People learn things by ear all the time. And what difference does it make how anyone learned? They still put in the time and effort, and I don't care how this little girl learned to play, she's still making some of Yngwie's most difficult stuff look effortless. Don't even try to take away from that just because you think she might have "learned from RU-vid." As if that is somehow easier than learning from a book or something.
@@metalboy5150 nope..disagree..i appreciate & respect her..but the learning process still easier than the oldschool & you can see nowadays everything (knowledge) was copied from the past & we have google & youtube
@@ikanganas dude she’s not even looking half the time and you’re talking about how she learned the piece. Regardless of how she learned it it’s still insanely impressive
I never thought that it is possible to surprise by performing a work that "relies" on a group. Especially if it is not recorded from a concert, which means that you can play and record not the first time. When RU-vid appeared, I could not believe that you can earn money there. Well, if you hug with wolves or bears, then yes; amazing and scary. but that views and earnings from this kind of music "went" - did not expect. maybe I have strong genes? Ilya Khmyrov, Minsk, 35-37 years old. or khmirov ilya.
This is crazy stuff! Playing Malmsteen without looking at the fretboard shows how much pain and patience went into practicing these insane stuff! Tina, you are one and only!
@@BlackSmith1965yeah, have you ever heard of BlackSmith1965? That guy is the Guitar God! He is the guitarist that everyone wants to be! No one can defeat him and has so many records and awards that you found believe it. Do you know BlackSmith1965?
+csrgatorfan I know you guys are joking to some degree, but it's worth while to go back and listen to young Yngwie. This girl absolutely monstrous, but Yngwie was a teenager when he was with Alcatrazz. When people see new and exciting things, it's easy to forget the craziness of excitement of the old thing when it was new. So next time you hear something like this or a teenager covering racer X flawlessly, remember that Paul and Yngwie, etc were babies too - and they were coming up with the techniques that are now standard shredder's repertoire.
I just watched the original by Yngwie and he looked absolutely spent after playing it. Tina looks like she was thinking about what to eat for lunch after the shoot! She is without a doubt the best electric guitarist I have ever seen. I too add my voice to all those that wish to see more of her fantastic skills. (Edit) I did a bit of background viewing of this girl and I think I should modify my assessment. Judging by the way she as an 8yr could play a classical guitar, even forming chords with her small hands, she is simply a phenomenal player of any guitar. I stand in awe of you! Exceptionnelle. Merveilleuse.
To those people who criticise about her expression, try learn a tiny part of this song and try play it perfectly while smile like Kermit the Frog, you will get the idea.
The people to criticise her expression have never been able to focus on anything as intensely as she has. There is simply no room for acting, all expressions are genuine, I believe.
without a doubt one of my favourite covers... jesus christ, the talent... someone needs to bring you back, the world neeeds to watchi this, live if possible.
@@samcree3051 oh I have 0 problem playing all the notes wrong but that fast xD. I started playing electric guitar 5 almost 6 months ago and I’m pretty close. Another 6 months and I think I’ll have stuff like this down. But I do practice on average at least 2 hours a day. Over the total 6 months I’ve not played guitar a total of 12 days, mainly because I’ve damaged my back or I needed to game instead so I could let my fingers heal. Practice practice practice. I’m already doing harmonics wnd all.
What I love about you Tina is your humility in presenting your skill. Ive seen other women guitarists whose presentation of sex appeal is distracting from what matters most - good music. You are the whole package pure and simple.
seriously who would give a younger kid a thumbs down for reaching for this....sour grapes big time...take this to 1 million views!! as a fan of Yngwie since 1985...trust me he will see this and be very proud of you.
I can understand why someone this talented this young would get unwanted attention on youtube and want to disappear. A sad commentary on our times. Tina S: go for it. You are good. All the best from rainy Vienna, Scott.
No matter I how many times I watch her play, her playing is always mesmerizing! Why does God come into my mind, when I see Tina play or when I hear Dimash sing? Why is it that after I hear them, I am left feeling that humanity is still worth saving?
Yeah right? I remember when I was 15, and had played guitar for 3 years. Wasn't remotely fucking close to this good. But some people are just born with it I guess. Plus hours and hours of training of course.
Some have the talent or natural skill, others don't. Those who have still need to train and practice to achieve, but those who don't will never be as good, no matter how much they practice. It's probably just human, we're all individuals with different traits and skills. This girl most certainly got it, she's awesome.
Yngwie is probably watching this and saying to himself: "Darn, now I'll have to come up with some even harder arpeggios that Tina can't play". Good luck with that, I say! You are fantastic girl, love your style and love your taste in music. I love all your other covers too. You're the best!
I was kinda joking here Jacky. Just trying to give a compliment to a girl who has obviously spent hours and hours practicing her craft to get to this level of skill.
I would agree, but I've seen Yngwie play this live and it was faster and sounded better than this. That said, she is and unbelievable guitar player, who should be in a band already.
shes so good its ridiculous , that piece is played at 180 bpm and shes playing it with ease , the technical proficiency is off the Richter scale . this is so hard to play , I have been playing 25 tears and I can only manage it at 85% speed still cant play it as well at slower speed . some people are just gifted and its not down to practice its a god given gift . i tell you , any non guitarists wondering if what she played is hard , well its actually harder than you think , her timing and reflexes and dexterity are insane , not everybody could do this with even 20 years of practice . just first opening bar was all alternate picking across adjacent strings at 180 bpm ,and it gets more difficult .. shes just incredibly gifted .
Если она за жизнь на учится что нибудь виртуозное в одну гитару играть:-. Соло и бас или тему и бас, тогда да. А так и я могу только в переписке с женщиной делился видеом . Попробую "изъять" оттуда как нибудь
I don't know why but this is my favorite video of yours! :D It is exciting, amazing and inspiring to watch you play and yet this song of Yngwie Malmsteen is sooo harmonic :) Love it!
Tina plays my favorite here. And I'm listening the whole time with disbelief and with my mouth wide open.... Unbelievable!! What a talent. Perfect playing, no overkill, pure talent!!
At 14 and already can shred..we have a huge talent in the world of guitar coming up to dominate Rock and Roll pretty soon...i mean all the songs she covered where fenomenal!!
it's pure magic. no matter, which discipline you look at: whenever an era of big genies ends, new one emerge, and they seem to carry all the skills and abilities of the former ones, unite them, extend them, integrate them, push all borders forward, play with all this stuff at ease. as if souls unite their experience and form new souls out of this.
I'm a huge fan of Yngwie Malmsteen and this song is one of my favorites but to me, this version is far better than the original. I could listen to this over and over and never get bored
@@peersvensson9253 who cares about "feelings". Let everyone play as they want. She is not giving a live concert where I would argue that she should show more stage presence, but here in a video on RU-vid? People like you always have to nitpick at something unimportant while being unable to appreciate someone else's talent.
That's an understatement. Arpeggios From Hell, Blitzkrieg, Prelude To April, Caprici Di Diablo and Trilogy are his hardest songs; the first two are composed to BE hard with difficulty and technicality in mind. She nailed one of them nearly perfectly concerning technique and tone. But Malmsteen's songs aren't as hard Paul Gilbert or Jason Becker songs because Yngwie likes to play in a linear, predictable way. What's really hard is to play with some weird fingerings and ridiculously high action like he does. That said, it takes mountainous talent to be able to pull anything Yngwie does off.
I think I can divide my life into two distinct eras. Before I stumbled upon Tina's channel and after. What a tremendous and inspiring talent, I can't stop listening.
I'd love to see her come back, join a band, but most of all I hope she finds happiness or peace - what ever we are seeking. Tina S. already has given us so much!
How can people even find the fucking GUTS to criticize this performance, it's like she is not even trying and she is ROCKING!!!!! Imagine her in a band. On stage. Daym. She's like freakin' Slash or something. And - not to mention her AGE! It's just pure jealousy, that's all.
For those of you who think Tina is bored, soulless, no passion, etc, please watch her cover of Steve Vai. If you still feel the same way, then we might as well agree to disagree. You have to listen and feel the energy coming out of her guitar, instead of just watching for some type of 'performance'. She's not flashy like most rock musicians and I believe a lot of that is because she's classically trained. When she starts playing, she goes into the 'zone' much like a professional athlete. The emotion and passion comes through the guitar. It has to be heard and felt. You can also see it subtly in her face and body movements. You can usually see her 'enjoyment' right before or after she plays. John Petrucci is very similar and I don't believe you would call him soulless or lacking passion. Maybe you prefer someone putting on a show, but I prefer her style and hope she doesn't change. For me, when you combine the ability to display the passion/emotion in the music with her technical ability and the ability to make everything look effortless, she's unbelievable and magical. That's why she has loyal subscribers and large numbers of viewers. It's not about gender or age, it's the way she plays and how people feel afterward. If she comes back playing christmas carols on a ukulele I'll pay to watch. If she chooses some other path then i'll happily support her (even though she doesn't need my support) and wish her the best. I'm sure a lot of her fans feel the same way.
This young lady can teach the masters....she is way ahead of most people that have decades of know-how. Amazing doesn't begin to describe her. I would sell my soul for just half of what she can do.
***** These are arpeggios cleverly put together and played at maximum speed, this is all about technique and for that it should be nothing but thumbs up. Her previous cover shows more feeling fitting with the piece.
***** That Adele cover is from 2 years ago, the progression she has made since then most people cannot achieve with a lifetime of practice. "Music is music" , no music is about your personal taste, perfectly illustrated with your 'Adele comment'.
***** It's really not ALL about taste. Whether or not you like some kind of music does have to do with taste, but it also has to do with whether or not the music is actually good. There's more to music than just taste, though I think you would agree with that. But, on the matter of taste, I happened to like this a lot. Probably 'cause I'm an aspiring guitar player nowhere near this level of awesome
I really don't see why anyone would be jealous. It just means that anyone that wants to play this has some practicing to do (like this awesome chick in the video did)!

Been playing guitar for 3 months. Flawlessly transitioned from the C chord to the G the other day for the first time. Thought I was the absolute SHIT!...Guitar is going on EBay after I finish writing this.
Ha ha just keep practicing man. It takes commitment to practice to that extent. I'm learning far beyond the sun right now and its one of his easier songs for quick alternate picking. Learn while ur young, if not work, home, practice 30 mins a day if u can.
Ive been at it for 50 years. Every day is a new challenge. Sometimes a day is a step backward. But one day you ll grab that baby, play something flawlessly and you ll be hooked forever.
Don't do it. Playing guitar is the best therapy there is, at least it is for me. It takes time. If you're transitioning from C to G seamlessly, then you're on your way. It will get easier with time. Your muscle memory will start to kick in. I joke about throwing my guitar into the fire pit all the time. Especially when I see and hear these young musicians. It can be very frustrating at times. I've been playing for about 30 years. I still suck! Hell, I'm just happy when people recognize what song I'm playing. Keep it up brother. This girt has been playing since she was 7, I think, but you just know that she has probably played hours and hours every damned day. I wish I had that kind of time. Music will always be there to help to get through the rough times. Always. But if you want to feel even worse, look up this girl who wears a hijab I think the channel is something like Melmesickoannie. She's pretty amazing too.
This video has been selected by the channel as one of the best and Most Amazing music videos on RU-vid and was added to the channel's playlist accordingly. Thanks for sharing.
So people pick shit like Justin Bieber up from RU-vid, but miss all the amazing, actual, talent like this? I hope you keep doing these, they're amazing. ^^
It took one of Yngwie's toughest pieces to even get her to look at the fretboard here and there. This girl is a massive inspiration. The level of practice and dedication is just on another planet.
"Arpeggios From Hell played by Tina S played on her Vigier Excalibur Custom." The customisation is that it is made from asbestos so that it doesn't catch fire.
This comment section is f'd up ... girl playing better than most dudes here everyone who plays has to admit this was awesome she kicked ass get over it people
I play a guitar for leisure. When I watch Tina S, I wonder how long it's going to take me to reach her level. Tina is a perfectionist. Her performance is super.❤
John Cole That's a bit harsh. A lot of the older guitarists and bands had a lot of flashiness. It sort of fits in there. Yngwie especially. "Tina S" is really technical. But I'd be interested in seeing how that translates into a stage-show too. No need to be so sensitive mr. Cole.
Peteru Avertis right because Slash standing like a statue on stage with his hair completely covering his face and upper torso is putting on a great show. And Slash is one of the finest guitarists in the world. Still. Guitarists don't " put on shows ". They stand there and jam out badass riffs Occassionally they may prance on stage or play with the other guitarist or put one leg up on something, but thats about it.
