No it's because Deep Purple's Fireball Album is one of Yngwie's Early Influences.That's where he Idolized Richie Blackmoore enough to get into Band Alcatrazz when he first came to the States. It wasn't til after he went Solo that he did his own style of music..

That was 27.3.99 'n after that I cannot listen to this heavy metal because Holy Spirit in me doesn't like that if u know what I mean!
