That sammich looked super good, but I would substitute REAL mayonnaise for the tarter sauce and a slice of sweet onion for the pickles! But hey, if there weren’t any onion or Mayo we wouldn’t pass up the sammich! Them was some NICE crappie!😊 And, don’t forget to VOTE!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

OWWW! I've run a hook in my fingers several times in my 50 plus years. Never pleasant! Only once, I had to push the hook though and snip the barb off. Painful! But, I always carry tools in my tackle box for such things. Plan ahead!

Wish we could use yo yo's in Georgia for crappie. We can only use them for catfish, American shad and non-game species

You should tie on a tube jig or maybe a marabou jig and see if the crappie will bite it with it just sitting there . That might work good if you have a bit of wind to make a little movement action :-) Ps. Now I am hungry .....

You should compare the bite times to the solunar tables and report back on your findings. I'd be very interested to see how that goes, and would trust your objectivity over the "fish stories" written in magazines that are designed to catch fishermen. 😏 Those are like atomic yo-yos, yanks the fish right out of the water. Gotta keep a close eye on those suckers, unless you like sun-dried fish chip tacos. Gills 'n dip. With those over rambunctuous yo-yos, you could add an extra hook and use them crappies for bait! *Good lookin' bait.*

I bought a dozen yo yo devices some 20 years ago after fishing Realfoot lake in Tennessee. They use them there to catch catfish. Never tried them
