Arun Pandala, Yoga Acharya (Master of Yoga) - with 30 years of experience in the system, he is one of the senior-most Sivananda trained teachers in India. He is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher ERYT 500 and a Continuing Education Provider YACEP certification from Yoga Alliance. He is the joint founder, joint director and senior acharya at the Sivananda Yoga Centre, Gurgaon.
Arun brings great passion, and a burning desire to share his yoga knowledge with the world. He is an extraordinary teacher, who makes the ancient science come alive, accessible, and relatable for modern day practitioners. he teaches with humour and compassion, he walks the talk, and understands how yoga can transform individuals, families and the planet itself.
Sivananda Yoga Centre, Gurgaon was set up on 1 April 2004 by Yogacharyas Arun Pandala and Deeksha Jain Prasad. The Centre's main purpose is to spread the teaching and practice of an authentic and ancient system of yoga, thereby promoting health, well being, a stress-free lifestyle and a more balanced and visionary individual. We have daily yoga classes, special courses, annual programmes and retreats, yoga teacher training courses, advanced teacher training courses, yoga during pregnancy, and yoga classes for children and teenagers.

Thank you Arun and the Gurgaon Center to give us so many opportunities to practice yoga online, not only asanas but a way to implement yoga benefits in our daily life. You are very modern, especially to talk of women health issues. Where it seems to be a kind of taboo in another SYC, you naturally talk about it. I'd love to spend a day in the gurgaon center next time i fly to South Delhi 🙏

Namaste, as long as you are feeling comfortable, you can practice yoga during menstruation. It helps to relieve certain aches and pains and also the changes in mood during that time. It is suggested to avoid the inverted postures particularly and also too much intense pranayama. We have a class on our channel which is suitable to practice during menstruation.
